Minnesota Wild vs Philadelphia Flyers Picks and Prediction for Tuesday November 3 2026

By: Kim Smith Published 11/03/2026, 12:00 AM ET

The Minnesota Wild visit the Philadelphia Flyers at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Tuesday, November 3, with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 PM ET. Minnesota has been one of the better teams in the NHL through the opening weeks, while Philadelphia is still trying to get its season moving in the right direction. The Wild are favored, and they’re bringing a four-game road winning streak into this matchup. Check out our free NHL picks for more hockey predictions.

Minnesota Has Been Getting the Job Done

Minnesota comes into Tuesday at 10-3-3, including a 5-3-2 record away from home. The Wild have gone 6-2-2 over their last 10 games, scoring 3.3 goals per game while allowing just 2.5. That’s a pretty good combination, and it’s a big reason they’ve been picking up points consistently.

What I like about Minnesota is that the Wild aren’t depending entirely on one part of their game. They’re generating offense, playing solid defense, and finding ways to win away from home. They’ve also been effective when they get something going on the power play, posting a 5-1-1 record in games where they’ve scored with the man advantage.

There are some injury concerns, though, and I wouldn’t just ignore those. Minnesota has several players listed as unavailable, including some important defensive and goaltending pieces. That’s something Philadelphia could take advantage of if the Flyers can get more pressure on net. Still, the Wild have been playing well enough that I don’t see those absences automatically changing the matchup in Philadelphia’s favor.

Philadelphia Is Still Searching for Answers

Philadelphia is 4-8-4 overall and just 2-3-3 at home. That’s not exactly the kind of start Flyers fans were hoping for. The team has gone 4-4-2 over its last 10 games, scoring and allowing 2.8 goals per game during that stretch.

Here’s what stands out to me. Philadelphia isn’t getting enough consistent offense, and the Flyers have had trouble when they’re spending too much time in the penalty box. They’re 0-4-2 in games where they’ve taken more penalties than their opponent. That’s not encouraging when you’re facing a Minnesota team that’s capable of making you pay on the power play.

Now, the Flyers haven’t been completely hopeless lately. They’ve played closer to .500 hockey over their last 10, and they’re at home against a Minnesota team dealing with some injuries. If Philadelphia can stay out of the penalty box and get a couple of early goals, this could become a much more competitive game. But that’s asking the Flyers to do several things they’ve struggled to do consistently.

Minnesota Wild vs Philadelphia Flyers Picks and Prediction

Moneyline Pick: Minnesota Wild

I’m taking Minnesota here. The Wild have been the better team, and I don’t see much reason to go against them just because they’re on the road. They’ve won four straight away from home, they’re scoring more consistently, and they’re allowing fewer goals than Philadelphia has been giving up lately. The injuries are worth watching, especially in goal, but the Flyers haven’t shown enough to convince me they’re ready to knock off a team playing this well. Philadelphia might make things uncomfortable for a couple of periods, but I trust Minnesota more when the game is on the line.

Total Pick: Under 6.5 Goals

Give me the under 6.5. Minnesota has allowed just 2.5 goals per game over its last 10, and Philadelphia has been averaging only 2.8 during that same stretch. That doesn’t exactly scream high-scoring hockey to me. The Wild should get their chances, but I don’t expect the Flyers to suddenly start piling up goals against a team that’s been defending this well. Minnesota’s injuries do create some uncertainty, so I wouldn’t call this a sure thing. But if the Wild play anything close to their usual game, I can see a 3-2 or 4-2 finish.

Final Picks: Minnesota Wild Moneyline | Under 6.5 Goals
