Seattle is set to take on the Flyers on Monday before playing the Capitals on Tuesday. Before the back-to-back, the Kraken beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3 on the road on Saturday. Josh Mahura scored the OT winner for the Kraken, while Shane Wright, Jani Nyman, and Vince Dunn also scored for Seattle.
The Kraken are expected to start Philipp Grubauer, who's 0-0-1 with a 2.77 GAA and a .870 SV%. He allowed 3 goals in a 4-3 shootout loss to Ottawa in his lone start this season. Grubauer is 3-2-1 with a 2.53 GAA and a .924 SV% in his career against Washington.
Seattle will be without star defenseman Brandon Montour, and forwards Kaapo Kakko and Jared McCann.

Washington is 4-2 and is coming off a 4-3 loss to the Vancouver Canucks. The Capitals will conclude their four-game homestand on Tuesday against the Kraken.
