Only one point separates Hull City and Brentford in the Premier League table, but the Bees have been finding the net more often. Sunday's meeting takes place at MKM Stadium, with kickoff at 10:00 am ET on Peacock. Hull are ninth with nine points and a 2-3-2 record, having lost 1-0 at Fulham last Saturday. Brentford sit sixth at 2-4-1 with 10 points after suffering a 2-1 home defeat against Liverpool. The visitors are -145 on the moneyline, Hull are +370, and the draw is +310. Here are our free soccer picks for the rest of Sunday's action.

Hull City Still Looking for Another League Win

Hull have gone four Premier League matches without winning, although they've picked up a couple of useful points along the way. The Tigers drew 2-2 at Chelsea in September before losing 2-1 to Newcastle. They returned home and played out another 2-2 draw against Everton, then failed to score in last weekend's defeat at Fulham. Hull also held Aston Villa to a goalless draw earlier in the season. They've scored eight goals and conceded seven through seven matches, with three draws helping them remain in the top half of the table.

Mohamed Belloumi has been involved in five of Hull's eight league goals, scoring three and setting up another two. Oliver McBurnie has taken 10 shots and contributed an assist, while Ryan Giles has created nine chances. Hull's attack has produced just 0.97 expected goals per match, which helps explain the lack of victories. The defensive record has been better, with three clean sheets and only seven goals conceded. Jack Butland is doubtful with an elbow injury, adding another concern for a team already dealing with several absences.

Injuries: Jack Butland is doubtful. Eliot Matazo, Matt Targett, Ilyas Ansah, Darko Gyabi, Charlie Hughes, Nobel Mendy, Lucas Gourna-Douath, Mohamed-Ali Cho and Robinio Vaz are out.

Brentford Have Been Getting Goals Without Enough Wins

Brentford's last victory came against Chelsea in September, when the Bees won 3-0 at home. Since then, they've drawn 2-2 with Aston Villa and lost 2-1 to Liverpool. Earlier draws against Bournemouth and Sunderland have also cost Brentford points. Four of their seven league matches have finished level, leaving them with 10 points despite losing only once. The scoring hasn't been a major issue. Brentford have found the net 13 times and conceded eight, giving them a goal difference of plus five. That's considerably better than Hull's attacking return.

Kevin Schade has scored three league goals and taken 17 shots, while Vitaly Janelt and Keane Lewis-Potter have two goals apiece. Igor Thiago has also recorded 17 attempts, although he's scored just once. Jaidon Anthony has created eight chances. Brentford have generated 1.72 expected goals per game and allowed 1.44, with two clean sheets so far. The Bees will be without Janelt and Yegor Yarmoliuk because of suspensions, leaving them short of options in midfield. That puts more responsibility on the attacking players to make their opportunities count.

Injuries: Yegor Yarmoliuk and Vitaly Janelt are suspended. Kaye Furo, Joshua Dasilva and Antoni Milambo are injured, while Jannik Schuster is doubtful.

Key To The Game

Hull have scored only eight league goals, and Brentford have conceded the same number. Belloumi has been Hull's most productive attacker, while Schade gives Brentford a goal threat. The midfield battle becomes important with Janelt and Yarmoliuk unavailable.

Hull City vs Brentford Game Pick

  • Brentford -0.5

Hull haven't won in four league matches, and their attack has struggled to produce goals consistently. Brentford have scored 13 times through seven games, with Schade leading the way. The Bees have also lost just once, despite drawing four matches. Hull's defensive record keeps them competitive, but Brentford have more players contributing offensively. The visitors have enough to break through and collect three points at MKM Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Hull City vs Brentford Over/Under Pick

  • Under 2.5

Hull have kept three clean sheets and scored only eight goals in seven league games. Their latest match ended in a 1-0 defeat to Fulham, and they've struggled to finish chances. Brentford have been more productive, but four draws show how often their matches remain close. With Hull finding goals difficult to come by and Brentford missing two midfielders, the under 2.5 is the play for Sunday's meeting.
