Golden State led just 21-20 after the opening quarter before exploding for 37 second-quarter points and taking a commanding 58-31 advantage into the break.

The Valkyries finished the night shooting 49% from the field and an exceptional 50% from three-point range, connecting on 18 of 36 attempts from beyond the arc. Golden State also recorded 22 assists against only four turnovers. That 5.5-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio illustrates just how cleanly the Valkyries operated offensively. Dallas simply couldn't generate enough defensive disruption to slow them down.

Even accounting for both factors, the Valkyries demonstrated more than enough advantages to justify laying 4.5 points. Golden State won the opener by 24, committed only four turnovers, recorded 22 assists and led by as many as 36. The Wings' 47% shooting wasn't enough to make the game competitive because their defense couldn't consistently disrupt Golden State. Dallas' 16-6 home record deserves respect, but dropping the spread from 7.5 in Game 1 to 4.5 for Game 2 gives us enough room to stay with the better overall team. Take Golden State -4.5.

Golden State's 50% three-point shooting will almost certainly be difficult to duplicate, but the Over doesn't require another 104-point performance. Golden State has enough offensive balance to reach the upper 70s or low 80s even with significant regression from three-point range. The Wings also need to play aggressively because a loss ends their season.
