We have our Sparks vs. Dream prediction here as the Los Angeles Sparks (19-20) are getting ready to take on the Atlanta Dream (26-14) on Wednesday evening in nonconference WNBA action at the Gateway Center. These teams are both entering this game winners of two of their last three games, so they are playing well lately. This is the second of three games against one another as the Dream secured the win on the road, 88-82 on May 27. There’s no denying that you’ll be ahead of the curve when reading our WNBA Predictions.

They are coming off a 93-76 road win against the Connecticut Sun in their most recent game. Their offense is averaging 83.7 points per game while shooting 43.9% from the floor thus far. They are shooting at a lesser level from three at 33.1% and has been able to step up at the charity stripe at 78.2%. Atlanta Dream -6.5 (4 units)

There is a massive gap between these teams defending the three over the course of the last 10 games as the Sparks are 12th in the WNBA with a 40.9 3-point percentage against while the Dream are fourth with a 30.2 percentage from beyond the arc against them. Both teams over the course of the season show the ability to crash the offensive glass to get second-chance opportunities. Los Angeles is sixth with a 30.2 offensive rebounding percentage while Atlanta is third with a 32.1 offensive rebounding percentage up to this point. All in all, go with the Atlanta Dream to cover the spread.

Under 168.5 (4 units)

Neither team has shown the ability to take advantage of scoring on turnovers as Los Angeles is ninth in basketball with 15.3 points off turnovers per game while Atlanta is 11th with 14.1 turnovers per game so far. During the previous five games, these teams are struggling to connect from beyond the arc as the Sparks are 12th with a 30.2 3-point percentage while the Dream are 11th with a 30.8 percentage from beyond the arc in that span. Go with under 168.5 total points to hit as the better bet here.
