WNBA Picks for October 31, 2026
WNBA Picks and Predictions for Saturday, October 31, 2026
It all comes down to one game. The Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries are tied 3-3 in the WNBA Finals, and Saturday night’s Game 7 will decide the championship.
Atlanta kept its season alive Thursday with an 80-69 victory at home. That was a much better offensive performance from the Dream, who had scored only 62 and 55 points in their previous two losses. Golden State had an opportunity to finish the series but couldn’t get enough offense going to overcome Atlanta’s improved shooting.
Now the series returns to Golden State for the deciding game. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 PM ET, with USA Network, CNBC and Peacock carrying the contest.

Today’s WNBA Picks
Atlanta Dream vs. Golden State Valkyries Best Bets
Atlanta finally found some offense Thursday. The Dream scored 80 points after managing just 55 in Game 5 and 62 in Game 4. They also did a much better job creating open looks, and that forced Golden State to play at a faster pace than it had preferred during its two previous victories.
Golden State has been at its best when the game slows down. The Valkyries held Atlanta to 62 and 55 points in consecutive wins, then allowed 80 in Game 6. That difference tells you just how important controlling the tempo has become. Golden State doesn’t necessarily need to score 90 points to win the championship. It needs to prevent Atlanta from getting comfortable offensively.
The series now returns to San Francisco, where Golden State will have the home crowd behind it. Atlanta has demonstrated it can win when its offense gets rolling, but the Dream also have to prove they can sustain that production against a defense that has already frustrated them repeatedly.
Side Pick: Golden State Valkyries Moneyline
I’ll take Golden State at home in Game 7. Atlanta deserves credit for responding Thursday, but the Valkyries have been the more dependable defensive team over the course of this series. They’ve already shown they can hold the Dream below 65 points, and returning home should help Golden State control the tempo.
The concern is Atlanta carrying its Game 6 shooting performance into Saturday. The Dream have enough offensive ability to win if they generate the same quality looks. Still, Golden State has home court and the defensive consistency I want in a championship game.
Total Pick: Under 145.5 Points — Target
I’m leaning under if 145.5 is available. Games 4 and 5 produced only 129 and 119 combined points, and both teams have demonstrated how difficult it can be to generate consistent offense in this series. Game 6 reached 149, but that required Atlanta to produce its best offensive performance in several games.
The danger is another hot shooting night from the Dream or an unusually fast start that forces both teams to push the pace. But with a championship on the line, I expect a physical game where every possession matters. Golden State should try to slow things down, and that’s the style that makes the under attractive.
WNBA Best Bet of the Day
Golden State Valkyries Moneyline is my WNBA Best Bet of the Day. The Valkyries have home court for the deciding game and have shown they can control Atlanta defensively. The Dream’s Game 6 response was impressive, but Golden State has the stronger home situation.
This series has been close enough that either team can win. I’ll take the Valkyries to finish the job in San Francisco.
Final Picks: Golden State Valkyries ML | Under 145.5 Points (target)
