We have the National League West to consider for Thursday evening when the Los Angeles Dodgers and Colorado Rockies meet for game one of a four-game scheduled series. The Dodgers are first in the National League West and the Rockies enter this series as the fourth-place team looking to catch the third-place San Francisco Giants.
This preview was written prior to the start of Wednesday MLB contests and all opinions are based on Tuesday night MLB action.

The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.
Full-Game Side Bet
This is going to be good opening night for this series. The Dodgers have one of the best pitching staffs in baseball and the offense is darn good. The Rockies offense is top ten and the pitching staff has struggled mightily this season. Los Angeles has figured out how to win on the road and Colorado is below .500 at Coors Field. I will be taking the Dodgers in this one.
Full-Game Total Pick
Vegas hasn’t posted a total yet but we can assume that number will be a high one. I expect the Dodgers to score a few runs in the light air and we can safely say the Rockies love to hit at home. The Dodgers pitching staff is too good from top to bottom and I don’t expect the Rockies to blast away. Colorado pitching has been awful but they know how to pitch in Coors and I will take the UNDER in this game!
