Bradley has struggled lately in losing five of their last six, overall, along with three straight as they fell to the Valparaiso Crusaders on the road in their last outing as they were only able to post 18 points in the first half while ending the game shooting 30%, total, along with connecting on just 5 of 18 3-pointers in the loss.

Awful shooting for Braves results in another loss
The Bradley Braves certainly continued their awful shooting in their last matchup versus the Valparaiso Crusaders as they posted just 50 points on the night while shooting just 30% from the floor in addition to connecting on just 5 of 18 3-pointers. In fact, the Braves were only able to muster just 18 points in the first half en route to yet another double-digit defeat.

During their three-game losing streak, the Braves have averaged just 53 points per game while their defense has remained solid in allowing opponents 62 points during this time. Of course, the Braves will certainly need to step up their game on the offensive end in which two somehow erect themselves from their current rough patch. Fortunately for Bradley, they may indeed have a winning chance in this contest versus the Missouri State Bears, as they are allowing teams to shoot a tad under 46% on a nightly basis from the floor.
Nonetheless, after allowing opponents to average 78 points per game in their prior two games, Missouri State responded with a stellar defensive effort in their last outing versus the Indiana State Sycamores in allowing just 57 points, total.
Bears lead with defense to get victory over Sycamores
Missouri State certainly shored up their defensive vulnerabilities in the last matchup vs the Sycamores of Indiana State University as the home team was allowed to shoot just 41% for the game while making good on 7 of 21 3-point attempts as Tyreke Key along with Jordan Barnes were the only two double-digit scorers with 14 and 10 points, respectively. On the other hand, Missouri State was red-hot from the floor in shooting 52% while connecting on just four three pointers for the night with Tulio da Silva leading the way with 22 points along with pulling down eight rebounds in the much-needed victory.

It will be important to mention that Missouri State got to the free-throw line for three times as many attempts as Indiana State while they also outrebounded the home team mightily in this contest as well. Furthermore, 22 turnovers certainly turned the tide in favor of the Bears of the Missouri State Bears also en route to a victory.
And while the offense has not been red hot throughout much of the season, the Missouri Bears have managed to hit some critical buckets throughout the season in which to keep their team competitive. The defense, on the other hand certainly needs much improvement moving forward; However, one can certainly look at their last game as a blueprint as to how the team should performed as the season wears on.
- Braves are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 Sat. games.
- Bears are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games
- Over is 19-6-1 in Bears last 26 Sat. games
- Over is 9-4 in Bears last 13 overall
The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.
Full-Game Side Bet
I will back Missouri State in this contest as I have little to no confidence that Bradley can keep up, as it relates to scoring, throughout the duration of this contest. And while Missouri state has not been tearing up from the perimeter, as stated, they will certainly score enough points in which to outpace the Bradley Bears in this exciting Missouri Valley match up on Saturday afternoon.
Prediction: Pick: Missouri State Bears +150
Full-Game Total Pick
With the way in which both offenses has struggled lately as well as throughout the season, the under will indeed be the strong play in this matchup amongst these two Missouri Valley squads on Saturday. As stated, the Bradley Braves are certainly going through a rough patch on the offensive end at this point in the season while Missouri State continues to labor along on this end of the floor, yet, they have won three of their last five games, overall. Nonetheless, the under has been the play in four of the Bears last six games, overall, which signals that the trends will continue in this matchup as well.
Prediction: Pick: Under 139.5
Full-Game Prop Bet
I will back the Bears with the plus points in this matchup as neither team has performed well lately, particularly on offense. It is for this reason that I happen to believe that this game will be a defensive minded affair to where both teams will have ample opportunities to win the game. With that being the case, look for the Bears to capitalize in this contest en route to covering the small spread in the meantime.
Prediction: Pick: Missouri State Bears +3.5
Half-Time Side Pick
Bradley has played so terrible on the offensive end lately that I have no confidence that they can cover the small spread at the half versus Missouri State on Saturday. It is for this reason that I will back the Bears with the plus points at the half as I see them hitting some critical buckets as the half approaches in which to claim a small lead at the break.
Prediction: Pick: Missouri State Bears +2
Half-Time Total Bet
Look for the under to be the play at the half in this contest as while I happen to feel as though both teams will put some points on the board early on, both defenses will turn this game into an affair to where the game will be won on the defensive end. It is for this reason that the under is indeed the strong play in this instance.
Prediction: Pick: Under 66
Half-Time Prop Prediction
I will back the Bears to claim a lead at the half while also cashing in on the money line at the break at they will do a much better job at capitalizing on opportunties on the offensive end early. Also, as stated, the Bears will also perform better on the defensive end leading up to the break, thus allowing them to claim the small lead advantage.
Prediction: Pick: Missouri State Bears +125
