NCAAB: Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 6:00 PM EST
Tennessee is the 3rd ranked team in the nation and they are riding a nine-game winning streak. They are 2-0 in SEC play and their only loss of the season was against Kansas, who were the 2nd ranked team in the nation at the time. They have won their last four games in blowouts and they have played well on both ends of the floor on the season, especially on offense ranking 10th in the nation in ppg.
Florida has won three of their last four games and they are 1-1 in SEC play. They are 0-2 facing ranked teams this season and a win in this home game would be HUGE for them. The Gators are led by a defense that ranks 8th in the nation in points allowed and you can bet their D will be tested in this game. Florida must play good defense to win, as they only rank 278th in the nation in ppg.
Florida is 4-0 ATS in their last four home games facing Tennessee.
Another win and another rout
In their last game Tennessee was on the road and they had another rout in an 87-63 win over Missouri. Reserve Jordan Bowman more than doubled his season average leading the way for the Volunteers with 20 points and Jordan Boone and Admiral Schofield combined for 33 points.

Grant Williams leads the team averaging 18.8 ppg, but even in the blowout win he had a clunker in the Missouri game only scoring four points on 1/8 shooting. Schofield ranks 2nd on the squad averaging 18 ppg and he is also averaging 6.1 rpg and was one rebound shy of a double-double against the Tigers with nine boards.
Holding on for the win
Florida was on the road in their last game beating Arkansas 57-51 where they held on for the win after outscoring the Razorbacks by 11 points in the first half. They held Arkansas to only 22 points in the first half and while they only shot 31% from the floor they held Arkansas to a FG% of only 30% and also forced 16 turnovers. KeVaughn Allen was the only player for the Gators that scored in double figures going for 18 points on only 3/11 shooting and he missed eight of his nine 3-pointers, but was 11/12 from the free throw line. He (10.9 ppg) and Noah Locke (10 ppg) are the only two players for Florida that are averaging in double figures. Full-Game Side Bet
While Florida has a great defense, Tennessee has a great offense and a solid defense as well. The more well-rounded team will take this game, which is why Tennessee is the pick. They will not win this game in a rout, as it will be a low scoring affair with the Gators playing solid D The Volunteers will win this game and cover the spread extending their winning streak to 10 games.
Prediction: PICK: Tennessee
Full-Game Total Pick
Florid will not win this game, but they will play pretty good defense in slowing the game down. Tennessee will also play good defense against a low scoring Gators team and don’t look for a lot of offensive fireworks in this SEC game. In a low scoring affair the Under is the money pick.
Prediction: PICK: Under
