NCAAB Basketball: Saturday, January 12th 2019 2:00 PM EST TIME
The VCU Rams are looking to keep their winning streak going as they head into Davidson to take on the Wildcats. As for the Wildcats, they are undefeated at home in the regular season.
It took some time, but the VCU Rams are coming into this game with a huge comeback victory. The Rams would overcome an 18-point first half deficit and held La Salle Explorers to under 30 percent shooting in the second half Wednesday on the way to victory. It was a much-needed victory for the Rams as they were on their way to dropping two straight. The Rams come into this game with a record of 11-4 on the season and has a 2-2 record on the road. In that win, it was led by guard De’Riante Jenkins who scored a team-high 15 points along with four rebounds. He shot 2-of-4 from 3-point range.

Looking back on the huge run by the Rams in the second, it started with a huge 15-3 run to kick off the game as they would lead by seven with less than six minutes in the game. Even though the Rams offense has started slow in multiple games, they can get hot and stay hot throughout the game.
Undefeated At Home
The Davidson Wildcats are looking to keep their winning streak going as well as they took care of George Mason on Wednesday. Now the Wildcats enter this game with an 11-4 overall and 2-0 in league play. They also enter this game with a 7-0 record at home this season. The Wildcats are one of the best in conference play as since the 2014 season they hold a 7-27 in A-10 regular season play, including 13-5 last year. With the Wildcats undefeated in conference play as well, they have the upper hand playing at Belk Arena as they have won 18 of their last 19 at home.

It may surprise some, but the Wildcats starting five is being led by a lot of Freshman. Guard Luka Brajkovic is one of those freshmen as he is coring 11.8 per game, while leading the way in rebounding with six per game. He has been the leader of this team as fellow freshman Luke Frampton is right behind him with 10 points per game.
- Wildcats are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.
- Rams are 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.
- Rams are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games following an ATS loss.
- Rams are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record.
- Rams are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games.
The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.
Full-Game Side Bet
I’m liking the Rams covering this game as they have the fire power and experience to keep this game close. The Wildcats have struggled to take on top teams in the conference as the Rams will be keeping this game close. Even if the Rams fall behind early, expect a nice back door cover.
Prediction: Rams ATS
Full-Game Total Pick
This is a tough one. The Rams and Wildcats do have great offensive minds, but when they face each other, it tends to flip. The Under is 6-0 in the last 6 meetings and that is the perfect trend I’m leaning with. The Under is 6-0 in Rams last 6 vs. a team with a winning straight up record as well as 4-1 in Rams last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.
