The Horizon League is already five games into their conference season and Saturday should be a solid contest between the Green Bay Phoenix and Oakland Golden Grizzlies. The Phoenix are 3-1 in Horizon League play and the Golden Grizzlies are 3-2 thus far in conference play. Should be a fun game!!
Green Bay Falls to Detroit Mercy
At nine wins and eight losses, Green Bay is having a nice season and according to KenPom, the Phoenix have played one of the strongest schedules thus far in the country. Green Bay is coming off their first conference loss, a 101-83 loss to Horizon League leader Detroit Mercy. Junior guard Kameron Hankerson came off the bench to score 17 points with four rebounds and two assists and Shanquan Hemphill scored 13 points with four rebounds and an assist to led Green Bay. The Phoenix shot 43 percent from the floor, just 7-27 from long range and 68 percent from the free throw line in their road loss to Oakland.

That makes two road losses in a row for the Golden Grizzlies and in their loss to Milwaukee, Jaevin Cumberland scored 19 points with three rebounds, three assists and two blocks and Karmari Newman chipped in with 13 points and five rebounds. The Golden Grizzlies shot like the Memphis Grizzlies, going 35 percent from the floor, 34 percent from behind the three point line and 72 percent from the charity stripe in their home loss to Milwaukee.

The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.
Full-Game Side Bet
Oakland has had a tough time at home in conference play, but I’m rolling with the Golden Grizzlies on Saturday. They have an awesome assist to turnover ratio and are solid shooters who have been in a bit of a slump lately. According to KenPom, Oakland has one of the best offenses in the country and I see that as the main reason to roll with the Golden Grizzlies on the money line Saturday.
Full-Game Total Pick
No tatal is on the board yet, but neither side plays much defense but man, do these teams score points. Like 161 points scored combined. And I think Vegas will post a total of 152-155 and that will suit us as we are playing the under on Saturday. Oakland as scored under their average in four of the past five games and Green Bay finished below their average in two of their last five. I will play the under on Saturday.
