Full-Game Side Bet
Both Washington State and Oregon State have good overall records, but other than Washington State knocking off No. 8 Oregon at home on Thursday, neither team has played well against the better competition on their schedule. The Beavers have a decent offense, led by Tinkle and Ethan Thompson, but Washington State’s strength is its defense. Oregon State is a decent team on the road at 4-3, but the Cougars are 10-3 at home.
Take Washington State +3.5
Prediction: Washington State +3.5
Full-Game Total Pick
Both teams average more than 71 points per game, so the math ads up to an over play. Plus neither team is lock-down on defense, so the game should play to at least the team averages. Both teams are led by a star player who leads the team in points and rebounds in Tinkle for Oregon State and Ellerby for Washington State. The Cougars have been a hot-shooting team from behind the arc in the past two games as well, converting 23 of 48 for 47.9 percent.
