Oakland Golden Grizzlies vs. Detroit Mercy Titans
NCAAB Basketball: Saturday January 19th 2019 2:00 PM EST TIME
The Oakland Golden Grizzlies team is still on the road as they head into Detroit to take on the mighty Titans. As for the Titans, they have been losing back and forth at home, but they have been covering.
The Oakland Golden Grizzlies are looking to keep their winning streak going and climb back into the standings as they head just a bit north to take on the Detroit Titans. In that win against Green Bay, it was an impressive day by Karmari Newman who finished with a career high 33 points on 10 of 13 shooting including going 6-for-8 from three-point range. Now the Grizzlies are ready to take back the crown as they get ready for this huge metro game. The reason why this rivalry is called the metro game or series is because they are just separated by 30 miles and they are both in the Metro area of Detroit. Right now this is for all of the marbles especially the Grizzlies who need to get it back.

Even though the Grizzlies might have won their previous games against the Titans, it is an all school event as other sports participate in this contest. Each time someone gets a win, it adds more points to their total. At the moment, the Titans lead the series with a 13-9 record. However the Golden Grizzlies have won nine of the last 12 meetings against.
Time To Show Off First Place
The Detroit Mercy Titans are looking to showcase why they are in first place as they look to claim back some of that pride against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies. The Mercy are having a historic season so far as they come into this game with being in first place and off to its best start through six games in Horizon League play. Even though they started off the season with losing games in their non-conference games, they come into this game with holding a 5-1 record in league play right now. Now is the time for the Titans to reclaim their glory as they have the momentum heading into Saturday.

Full-Game Side Bet
The Titans are simple on a roll right now. Now they head into one of the most important games of the season with some fire under their belts. This is a must win for the Titans and they will get this win as they are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. Horizon League as well as 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games overall.
Full-Game Total Pick
The Detroit Mercy and Oakland basketball team both hold two of the top five scorers in the conference as I can see them going back in forth in this game. Expect a high scoring game as the Over is 4-0 in Titans last 4 overall as well as 4-0 in Titans last 4 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400.
