The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.
Full-Game Side Bet
There isn’t a line available but I think it’s safe to say the edge has to go with Texas. I suspect the line will be somewhere around ten points and if it is ten points or less, I have to go with Texas solely based on their strength of schedule and them being at home. I’m not impressed with the Longhorn defense but I think they should be able to cover anything under ten points. Anything over and we must at least consider that the Warhawks are good enough to not get blown out by Texas.
Full-Game Total Pick
I suspect the total will be somewhere between 140 points and 150 points. If the total is in that range then I will play the over because I think this is going to be one of those “look what I can do” games full of showboating, dunking and plenty of buckets scored. If the total is over 150 then I will most likely go with the under as I don’t believe these two teams are good enough to put up 80 against each other.
