South Florida Bulls vs. Georgetown Hoyas

Where: Montego Bay Convention Centre, Montego Bay, Jamaica

When: Sunday, November 18, 12:00 PM. ET.

The Georgetown Hoyas will be trying to bounce back from their first loss of the season when they face the South Florida Bulls at the Jamaica Classic at Montego Bay on Sunday afternoon.

Bulls Going For Fourth Consecutive Win

The Bulls have won their first three games of the season and they will be trying to stay perfect when they take on the Hoyas on Sunday.

South Florida has played well defensively this season, holding opponents to 59.7 points per game, which is 33rd in the country. They placed exceptionally well in their last game, holding Ohio to 46 points. The Bobcats were smothered from the start and finished the game shooting 29.1 percent from the field and eight percent from three-point range.

The Bulls will need to put together a similar effort to beat the Hoyas on Sunday.

Offensively, the Bulls are averaging 75.7 points per game, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. The team shot 43.6 percent from the field and 27.3 percent from three-point range.

David Collins leads the Bulls with 13.7 points and 2.7 steals per game. T.J. Lang is averaging 12 points and three rebounds, while Justin Brown is averaging 12 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

Hoyas Going For Fourth Win In Five Games

The Hoyas suffered a disappointing loss to Loyola Marymount in their first game of the Jamaica Classic, but they will try to bounce back with a win over USF, which will give them their fourth win in their first five games.

If the Hoyas want to beat the Bulls, they will need to do a better job on the offensive end, after being held to 52 points By the Lions. The Hoyas finished the game shooting 34.7 points from the field and 15.8 percent from three-point range.

Jessie Govan leads the Hoyas with 17.5 points and eight rebounds per game. James Akinjo is averaging 12.5 points and 5.8 assists, while Josh LeBlanc is putting up 10.3 points and 6.3 assists per game.

Defensively, the Hoyas are giving up 69 points per game, which is 147th in the country. Despite their loss to the Lions, they did a great job on the defensive end and should be able to beat the Bulls if they play with the same intensity on Sunday.

The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.

Full-Game Side Bet

The Hoyas have struggled against the spread, losing their last four games following a straight up loss and eight of their last nine overall. The Bulls have been great against the spread, winning their last five games against teams with winning records and five of their last six neutral site games.

Prediction: South Florida Bulls

Full-Game Total Pick

The total has gone over in six of South Florida’s last seven neutral site games and in seven of the team’s last 10 games against teams with winning records. The total has also gone over in five of Georgetown’s last six games and in the team’s last five games following an ATS loss.

Prediction: Over

Half-Time Side Pick

The first half between these two teams will be close, but the Hoyas have a slight edge because they are averaging 34 points per game in the first half while the Bulls are averaging 32 points per game.

Prediction: Georgetown Hoyas

Half-Time Total Bet

The Bulls and Hoyas are averaging 66 combined points in the first half. Since they are both playing good defense, scoring will not be as easy, but they will score enough to take the first half total over.

Prediction: Over
