The UCSB Gauchos head a couple hours northeast to Bakersfield to take on the Roadrunners on Tuesday. Both teams have mini winning streaks, as UCSB has won three in a row and Bakersfield has won two in a row.
UCSB Gauchos go for fourth win in a rowThe UCSB Gauchos finished the month of November with three straight wins over Menlo (who is an NAIA school), Portland State, and, most recently, Grambling. The Gauchos beat Grambling by nine, 67-58, despite shooting under 40% from the floor for the game. UCSB was led by JaQuori McLaughlin who had 20 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Matt Freeman was the only other Gaucho in double digits with 12 points. UCSB was just 5-27 (18.5%) from beyond the three-point arc.
"JaQuori is a huge part of what we do," said head coach Joe Pasternack on ucsbgauchos.com. "His offensive numbers are great, but we hang our hat on defense, and he's a big part of that. Tonight, we needed all of his offensive skills and it's comforting to know we can depend on him."
The Gauchos have four players who average double figures in points, led by Amadou Sow, who averages 15.6 points and 8.7 rebounds. Max Heidegger, who scored just two points against Portland State and didn't play against Grambling, is second on the team in scoring with a 14 points per game average. McLaughlin and Freeman average 12.7 and 10.3 points per game, respectively. UCSB averages over 75 points per game. They shoot 49% from the floor, but just 29.9% from three-point range.
Roadrunners look to keep rolling against the GauchosTh.e Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners try and win their third straight game on Tuesday, after dropping five of their first seven games. Greg Lee and Czar Perry checked in with 13 points, while Taze Moore scored 11 points.

Justin Elder-Davis leads the team in rebounding with five boards a game. They average just over 75 points per game and shoot 46.6% from the floor. Ten players have played in all nine games so far, and they all average over 13 minutes per game.

- The Gauchos are 1-4 ATS in their last five non-conference games
The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.
Full-Game Side Bet
Cal State Bakersfield is coming off an 87 point performance in which they shot lights out. They probably won't shoot 65% again, but look for them to continue to play well and break UCSB's three-game winning streak. Their bench play and the fact that they are at home will be the difference in this game.
Prediction: Cal State Bakersfield +2
