Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs
NCAAB Basketball: Tuesday, February 12th 2019 9:00 PM EST TIME
The Alabama Crimson Tide are looking to climb over the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Tuesday as they square off in the evening. As for the Bulldogs they have been near perfect at home this season.
The Alabama Crimson Tide have had some successful wins so far this season as they have been dominant and controlling. The Tide come into this game with yet another win like that as they are off a 77-76 win against the Vanderbilt team on Saturday night. It was the Crimson Tide’s second win in its last 15 trips to Memorial Gymnasium as they are starting to re write history as of late. It would be their second straight SEC win to improve to 15-8 overall and 6-4 in league play. One of the reasons why the Tide have been so successful this season as well has been due to their three-point shooting.

The Crimson Tide would hit 12 three-pointers and shot 50 percent from beyond the arc on the winning night which was a career high for them. They created chances and made it work in the win. In the win for the Tide, it was Kira Lewis who dropped 18 points which was the highest for the team.
So Close To Victory
The Mississippi State Bulldogs had a tough test in their last game as they fell to the ranked Kentucky team, but nearly pulled off the comeback win. The Bulldogs should some fight as they were faced with an 18-point deficit early in the second half but only managed to lose by four points and had the chance to send it into OT. If the Bulldogs can have the same fight they did on Saturday, they will easily be able to take care of the Tide on Tuesday. Now the Bulldogs come into this contest with holding a 16-7 overall record and a 4-6 record in conference play as they have been on this two-game losing streak but only be four points apiece.

In the loss, it was an impressive outing from Lamar Peters and Quinndary Weatherspoon who had a combined 35 combined points. The duo also accounted for five of MSU’s seven steals on the defensive end. Watch for these two leaders to really perform well against a weak Tide defense.
- Crimson Tide are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. Southeastern.
- Crimson Tide are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall.
- Bulldogs are 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 vs. Southeastern.
- Bulldogs are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
- Bulldogs are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games.
- Bulldogs are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 Tuesday games.
The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.
Full-Game Side Bet
I really want to take the Bulldogs here, but the Crimson Tide have been playing tight basketball as of late and have played extremely well against hailstate. The Crimson Tide are 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings as well as 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Mississippi State.
Prediction: CRIMSON TIDE
Full-Game Total Pick
The Bulldogs are wanting to control this game and they will be able to do for the majority of the game. Do not expect a fast paced game with the Tide and Hailstate to be hitting three’s back and forth. The Under is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings in Mississippi State as well as 10-4 in the last 14 meetings.
