Offensively, the Bulls average 83.7 points per game on 46.4% shooting from the field (36% from 3-point range).  They also shoot 68.7% from the free throw line while pulling down 38.5 rebounds per contest.

Trends

  • The Golden Flashes are 2-6 ATS in last 8 road games
  • The Golden Flashes are 3-9 ATS in last 12 games versus Bulls
  • The Golden Flashes are 2-4 ATS in last 6 MAC games
  • The Bulls are 7-1-1 ATS in last 9 Tuesday games
  • The Bulls are 8-3-1 ATS in last 12 MAC home games
  • The Bulls are 9-3 ATS in last 12 games versus Golden Flashes

Buffalo is well-deserving of their 1st place ranking within the Eastern Division of the MAC conference.  They were not only battle-tested in their non-conference schedule, but, have really shown that they can dominate teams within their respective conference as well.  Kent State, on the other hand, is a team that is not actively competing for a top spot in the East division due to inconsistent play and the inability to pick up key wins, particularly, those on the road.  Currently, the Golden Flashes hold down the 6th and final spot in the East rankings.  Nonetheless, the Golden Flashes were able to contain Buffalo’s offensive attack at home on 1/30, however, this will not be the case in this matchup.  The Bulls will be looking to maintain their 1st place standing along with avenge their most recent, ugly loss to the Golden Flashes.  It is for this reason that the Bulls will overwhelm Kent State in this game, thus picking up the all-important conference win against a sub-par Kent State outfit.
