We have a Southeastern Conference game before us when the Ole Miss Rebels travel to Auburn for a matchup with the Auburn Tigers. The Rebels are currently four games behind conference leader Tennessee and the Tigers are five games behind the conference top spot. This should be a highly competitive contest with much to play for.
Ole Miss Likely Tournament Bound!!
With a record of 16 wins and seven losses, the Rebels have had a solid season and a record good enough that if the regular season were to end today, would likely earn Mississippi a ninth seed in the NCAA Tournament. With eight games remaining on their conference schedule, and four games behind the Volunteers, Ole Miss would probably need to go undefeated and hope for some luck in order to win the SEC. Mississippi has a terrific opportunity to improve their seeding, but in order to do that they need to win, and that begins on Wednesday with Auburn.

Mississippi isn’t listing anyone on their injury report for Wednesday night against Auburn.
Ole Miss won their last meeting with Auburn by a score of 82-67. The Rebels have a road record of four wins and three losses and are working on a two-game winning streak.
Junior Breein Tyree leads the Rebels in scoring, averaging 18.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. Tyree is knocking down 2.2 triples per game and has exceeded his scoring average in all five of his last five games.
Auburn Spectacular Home Record
If the regular season were to end today, Auburn and their record of 16 wins and seven losses would likely earn them the seventh seed in the NCAA Tournament. Auburn still has an outside shot at winning the SEC but being five games behind the top spot and with just eight games remaining, winning the SEC seems unlikely. Improving their seeding is an easy task; all they need to do is keep doing what they are doing, and what they are doing is winning more games than they lose.

Auburn isn’t reporting any injuries for their Wednesday night game with Ole Miss.
Auburn has an opportunity to avenge an earlier season loss to Mississippi, losing to the Rebels by a score of 82-67. The Tigers have a home record of 12 wins and one loss and have a one-game losing streak they would love to stop.
Senior guard Bryce Brown leads the Tigers in scoring, averaging 16.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and two assists per game. Brown is also draining 3.5 triples per night and has exceeded his scoring average twice in the last two games.
- Tigers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games.
- Rebels are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.
The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.
Full-Game Side Bet
I expect Auburn to kick the daylights out of Mississippi on Wednesday night. They have the revenge factor, they are fully healthy and the Tigers are 8-4 ATS as the home favorite this season. Auburn is also 12-1 at home overall and I like their chances of covering the eight points. Auburn also has one of the best defenses in the country and I think they can handle Ole Miss on Wednesday. Lay the wood, play the Tigers!
Prediction: Auburn -8 Points
Full-Game Total Pick
That seems like too many points for this game. Especially the way Auburn plays defense. I expect Mississippi to score points, but I also expect the Tigers defense to be all over the Rebels on Wednesday. When I added everything together, I came up with 139 points so I have to play the under in this game.
Prediction: Under 155.5 Points
