Temple Owls vs. USF Bulls
NCAAB Basketball: Saturday, February 16th 2019 6:00 PM EST TIME
The Temple Owls are looking to continue their historic season on Saturday as they take on the Bulls. As for USF, they too have been impressive as this game could come down to the final shot.
Another Rebounded Win
The Temple Owls have never been out of the count before this season as they always seem to rebound following a loss with an excellent win. That was the case on Wednesday as the Owls would rebound from their loss against the Tulsa Waves with an 82-74 home win over SMU. It was a much-needed win for the Owls as they got an amazing night from Shizz Alston who dropped a game-high 28 points and pulled away from the win. With the win against Tulsa it gave the Owls the 10th home victory and the Owls now have nine 10-win seasons at the Liacouras Center under 13th-year head coach Fran Dunphy. Can he continue those impressive wins on Saturday?

If the Owls want to continue their winning ways, they are going to need their impressive depth chart of players to continue to shot well. Their most impressive win came against the UConn Huskies where five players reached double figures in with Temple shooting a season-best 62 percent in the first half and scoring a season-high 46 first-half points. Can they do it again?
Time To Rise Up
The USF Bulls are finally on the rise of winning again as the past years of this basketball program has been nothing but losing. Now the Bulls are rising up in the conference with an impressive season. The Bulls come into this game with a 17-7 overall record, holding one of the best records at home in the conference. They hold a 13-2 record at home this season. The Bulls do come into this game with a loss under their belt as they had won five straight until losing 78-65 at UCF on Feb. 13. The Bulls are now 7-5 in conference play and are looking for that revenge win on Saturday.

The Bulls have already lost to the Temple Owls this season as it was an OT thriller. Now with the Bulls back at home, expect a different outcome now. For the Bulls, they are being led by a young team with freshman Alexis Yetna getting 9.9 rebounds per game as junior Mark Rideau leads the team with 13.7 points per game.
- Bulls are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.
- Bulls are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record.
- Bulls are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Saturday games.
- Owls are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.
- Owls are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 Saturday games.
- Owls are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win.
The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.
Full-Game Side Bet
I’m going to lean with the Bulls here as they have been impressive at home this season and have yet to lose back to back games. The Bulls are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 vs. American Athletic Conference as well as 13-4 ATS in their last 17 games overall.
Full-Game Total Pick
Anytime the Bulls lose, they tend to tighten up the defense with playing a lot more man. I expect the same on Saturday as the Under is 5-2 in Bulls last 7 games following a straight up loss as well as 7-3 in Bulls last 10 home games.
