Arizona Wildcats vs Colorado Buffaloes
Where and when: CU Events Center, Boulder, Colorado, Sunday, 8 pm EST
The Arizona Wildcats will travel to the CU Events Center in Boulder, Colorado, to face the Colorado Buffaloes on Sunday night at 8 pm EST in a Pac-12 contest. The losing streak for the Wildcats have swelled to six games as they fell to the Utah Utes in their last matchup as their offense improved a bit in shooting 45% from the floor; However, their defense allowed over 50% from the floor in the win as Parker Van Dyke put in a huge performance off the bench in scoring 23 points while also going 7-10 from long-range. Chase Jeter and Brandon Rudolph struggled yet again for Arizona in going a combined 4-14 from the floor in the loss.
The Colorado Buffaloes continued their winning play as they are now winners of four-straight outings after taking care of what was once the 2nd place team in the Pac-12 in the Arizona State Sun Devils. And while the Sun Devils were more accurate from three-point range in the contest, Colorado was outstanding in shooting 49% from the floor as a team. In addition to this, they continue to receive huge performances from McKinley Wright IV along with Tyler Bey.
Wright IV and Bey lead Colorado in win over Sun Devils
Wright IV along with Bey chipped in 24 and 22 points, respectively, for the Buffaloes in their victory over the Sun Devils as Bey also pulled down 17 boards while Wright IV dished out 8 assists in the all-important victory. Bey (13 ppg, 9 rebs) collected his third double-double in the last four games for Colorado. On the other hand, Wright IV (14 ppg, 5 reb, 5 ass) is beginning to work himself out of a slump as he has scored 20+ points in his last two games.

The defense for the Buffaloes has remained solid during their current winning streak as they allowed an inconsistent Arizona State team to shoot 42% from the floor as Lugentz Dort, despite leading the team with 21 points, shot just 5-13 on the night while going 8-9 from the free-throw line.
Colorado will be looking to atone for an 8-point loss to the Wildcats in January on Sunday. In fact, since their loss to the Wildcats, the Buffaloes have won six of their last ten, overall. Most importantly, their defense continues to play solidly while Wright IV continues to increase his production after a horrible stretch of games recently.
Arizona fall to Utes for sixth straight loss
Arizona continues to reel due to the absence of Brandon Williams, who is currently out of the lineup due to injury. In his absence, the Wildcats have struggled in getting consistent offensive production as Randolph (14 ppg) has only scored in double-digits in just one of his last seven outings, overall. Also, he has been wholly inconsistent in averaging 38% shooting from the floor on the year.

Jeter (11 ppg, 7 rebs) continues to shoot over 58% from the floor for the Wildcats; However, has also struggled from the floor in recent outings in posting just an average of six points in the last five games for Arizona. On the other hand, Justin Coleman has increased his offensive production in averaging 13 points per outing in the last four games while shooting 38% from long range on the season.
Nonetheless, the Wildcats have certainly dug themselves a huge hole after falling to the Utes. They are only two spots from the cellar of the conference and while matchups versus a surging Stanford squad along with contest versus Oregon State along with Oregon, things will certainly not be easy for the Wildcats to get back on track. Injured Williams could indeed be inserted back into the lineup soon, however.
- 4-0 ATS last 4 overall.
- Home team is 4-1 ATS last 5 in series.
- 0-6 ATS last 6 overall.
- 0-5 ATS last 5 after an ATS loss.
- 0-5 ATS last 5 after a SU loss.
The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.
Full-Game Side Bet
Look for Colorado to pick up yet another hard-fought win over an Arizona team that prevailed over the Buffaloes in their last outing, primarily due to their defense holding the Buffaloes to just 35% shooting. Also, Wright IV will be looking to have a much better performance than his outing versus Arizona in January as he led the team with 17 points, yet committed 6 turnovers. With that being the case, look for the home team to obtain some payback in this contest as Colorado will indeed tie the season series with the Wildcats with a huge victory on Sunday.
Prediction: Pick: Colorado Buffaloes -195
Full-Game Total Pick
Arizona continues to battle huge bouts of inconsistency, as pointed out. And while the Buffaloes have improved on offense, lately, they have not been lighting up the scoreboard, either. With that being said, the over has been the result in six of the last seven games for Arizona. This is due to them allowing 85 points, on average, to opponents during this time. In all, look for the Buffaloes to push the pace and put some points on the board on Sunday as the over will indeed be the strong play in the end.
Prediction: Pick: Over 139
Full-Game Prop Bet
I will strongly pick the Buffaloes over the Wildcats with the points in this Pac-12 showdown as they will certainly be looking to extend their recent success. The Wildcats have been too up-and-down on the season in which to back at this point. With that being the case, look for Bey and Wright IV to lead the team to victory, yet again, as they will come closer to obtaining an opportunity to possibly take over 2nd place within the conference.
Prediction: Pick: Colorado Buffaloes -4.5
Half-Time Side Pick
The Buffaloes have really shined on both ends of the court as of late. It is for this reason that one can expect the home team to neutralize Arizona’s dismal offense while also coming up with some big buckets, offensively, as well. In all, after twenty minutes, the Buffaloes will be in total control as they will cover the two-and-a-half points.
Prediction: Pick: Colorado Buffaloes -2.5
Half-Time Total Bet
The Buffaloes offense continues to benefit from their playmakers stepping up at a critical point in the season. And while the defense for Arizona has been the more consistent, they have had outings to where they have struggled mightily against the competition. Look for this contest to be one of those games as the Buffaloes will jump out early and often on the Wildcats as the over will indeed be the strong play.
Prediction: Pick: Over 65
Half-Time Prop Prediction
Again, there is much on the line for the Buffaloes in this contest. In other words, a loss will certainly be out of the question to a struggling Arizona squad. With that being said, look for them to assert themselves on both ends of the floor early and often as they will cash in on the money line at the break as a result.
Prediction: Pick: Colorado Buffaloes -165
