Xavier Musketeers vs. Villanova Wildcats
NCAAB Basketball: Friday, March 15th 2019 6:30 PM EST TIME
The Xavier Musketeers are onto the next round as they take on the Villanova Wildcats in the Big East conference tournament.
It was a close call for the Musketeers but a win is a win especially in the conference tournament. The Musketeers are onto the next round of the Big East conference tournament as they won by the final score of 63-61 as the Creighton Blue Jays were unable to hit their final shot in the game to take the game into overtime. Now with the win, the Musketeers have won seven of the past eight games as they are storming into this game with some huge momentum. Xavier finished the regular season at 17-14 overall and 9-9 in the conference. However, they do have the tall task of taking on the defending champions on Friday night. They come into this game with a 1-1 record against them this season as they recently beat them 66-64 back in mid-February.

So far in the conference tournament, the Xavier Musketeers are scoring an average of 63 points per game. Zach Hankins is scoring 22 points in conference play as well. On the flip side, the Musketeers are allowing 61 points in the conference tournament.
With the Villanova Wildcats well rested for their opening round of the BIG EAST conference tournament game, they easily took care of the Providence Friars on Thursday morning. The Wildcats did need some time to heat up, but once they did, the Cats ran away with the win. It was a much needed 73-62 win as the Cats would drop 41 points in the opening half with a lead of seven and held onto it and more. With the win and especially the cover, the Wildcats are now 36-16 ATS in their last 52 neutral site games. The Wildcats have now won three of the past four games and are looking to keep their winning ways alive.

Full-Game Side Bet
Xavier recently took care of the Villanova Wildcats as the Cats will be ready for this rebound win. There is a strong reason why the Cats were favored to win their third straight Big East Conference title and it is due to their defense. Give me Nova here.
Full-Game Total Pick
Both of the meetings this here hit the Over this season, as the Musketeers will be on the charge early. With that in mind, Xavier will score just enough to hep the Over. 3 of 5 games in this series have gone Over THE TOTAL over the last 3 seasons.
