The Alabama Crimson Tide will be going for their 10th consecutive win of the season when they take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs, who will be trying to pull off the upset on Saturday afternoon.
Bulldogs Looking For Third Consecutive Win
The Bulldogs bounced back from their loss to then-fifth-ranked LSU with two consecutive wins, and they have now won three of their last four games, two of which came against ranked opponents. They will be trying to get another upset win and their third consecutive win when they face the Crimson Tide on Saturday.

Mississippi State has one of the best defenses in the country this season, giving up 12.3 points per game, which is second in the nation. They will face their toughest test of the season against the top offense in the country, but if they play like they did in their last two games, they will give themselves a shot to win the game.
Offensively, the Bulldogs are averaging 29.1 points per game, which is 70th in the country, thanks to a great running game. Quarterback Nick Fitzgerald has caused problems for defenses this season, completing 50.8 percent of his passes for 1,252 yards, 10 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. His ability to scramble has been his biggest strength and he also leads the team in rushing with 839 yards and nine touchdowns.
Kylin Hill is the Bulldogs’ second-leading rusher with 536 yards and three touchdowns.
Even though the Crimson Tide are holding opponents to 102.1 rushing yards per game, they will have a hard time preventing the Bulldogs from running successfully.
Crimson Tide Facing Another Tough Test
The Crimson Tide are coming off an impressive 29-0 win over third-ranked LSU in their last game, and have another tough test on their hands this week against the Bulldogs, who have been very tough this season. They will need to quickly move past their win over the Tigers to avoid an upset on Saturday afternoon.

Offensively, the Crimson Tide have been the best team in the country this season, averaging 51.3 points per game. Despite splitting time with Jalen Hurts earlier in the season, Tua Tagovailoa has put up impressive numbers for the Crimson Tide, completing 68 percent of his passes for 2,361 yards, 27 touchdowns, and one interception.
Alabama has also done a great job running the ball, averaging 224 yards per game, which is 25th in the country. Najee Harris leads the way for the Crimson Tide with 572 yards and four touchdowns, and he is followed by Damien Harris, who has 542 yards and six touchdowns.
Defensively, Alabama is also one of the best in the country, holding opponents to 14.1 points per game, which is the seventh best average. If they can stop the Bulldogs from running the ball, they will get the win on Saturday.
