Purdue Boilermakers vs. Minnesota Golden Gophers
NCAA Football: Saturday, November 10th 2018 6:30 PM EST TIME
The Purdue Boilermakers enter this game off an insane clash against the ranked Iowa Hawkeyes as they look to continue their success on the road against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Can the Gophers recover late in the season? Let’s find out.
I’ve been a huge fan of the Purdue Boilermakers all season long as they have been impressive, but even more impressive in winning money for everyone weekly. With that being said, the Boilermakers put the cherry on top of their season thus far with an upset win against the ranked Iowa Hawkeyes. I was all over that bet as I predicted the Boilermakers could pull it off and they did not leave me hanging. With that in mind, can they continue their dominance on the road? They enter this game as a near two-touchdown favorite as they will need another successful day from quarterback David Blough

In the upset win against the Boilermakers, it was Blough who kept the offense rolling with completing 23-of-32 passes for 333 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. This is more of a pass-first offense as they take on the Golden Gophers who just allowed over 500 yards of total offense.
Not So Golden Gophers
The Minnesota Golden Gophers are looking to turn their season around rather quickly as they have a few weeks left to showcase why they should be “Golden” The Gophers enter this game off a 55-31 loss to Illinois in which the defense was flat out awful. The Gophers could not stop the running game at all as they allowed 430 yards on 35 rush attempts, including five rush TDs. Now they must flip the script and prepare for a pass heavy offense which they have not seen so far this season. However, do not expect the Boilermakers to go all passing as they have some studs in the backfield as well.

If the Gophers want to keep pace, they must get the offense going as they are led by quarterback Tanner Morgan. In the loss against Illinois he completed 14-of-27 passes for 258 yards and two touchdowns. Minnesota has won two of the past three games when Tanner does throw for 300+ passing yards though.
- Golden Gophers are 2-5-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
- Golden Gophers are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 conference games.
- Boilermakers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following an ATS win.
- Boilermakers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall.
- Boilermakers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win.
- Boilermakers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in November.
- Boilermakers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 conference games.
The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.
Full-Game Side Bet
I’m all in on this Boilermaker team as they have the offense to complete destroy the Golden Gophers on Saturday. The Boilermakers have an even better advantage on the run as they are getting 5.0 yards per carry while Minnesota is allowing 5.8 yards per carry to opponents. Expect a surprise running attack from Purdue for the huge win.
Prediction: Purdue Boilermakers
Full-Game Total Pick
Hold the phones everyone. This is where to put your money at. The Over is 7-0 in the last 7 meetings in Minnesota as well as 6-0 in the last 6 meetings. Purdue has a lot at stake in this game as they are still trying to get ahead in the B10. Expect this one to get crazy.
