We have Southeastern Conference (SEC) to discuss and this might be the game of the year when the #1 ranked LSU Tigers meet the #2 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide for a tackle football game with playoff implications. This is meeting number 82 between the football powerhouses with Alabama holding a 52-24-5 edge in this storied rivalry. The Crimson Tide defeated the Tigers 29-0 for its eighth consecutive victory of this series.
Both teams are coming off bye weeks; LSU snuck past #9 ranked Auburn 23-20 and Alabama smashed Arkansas 47-7 in their previous matchup.
LSU Victories Over Three Top Ten TeamsNumber One ranked LSU is undefeated this season with a perfect, 8-0 mark alongside a 4-0 record in the SEC. Over its last five games, the Tigers have defeated two top 25 teams with their victories over #7 Florida and last weekend upended the #9 ranked Auburn Tigers by a score of 23-20. The home victory over Auburn was the Tigers’ third win over a Top 25 team this season.

Full-Game Side Bet
This might be the best game of the year and I hope it is. LSU has defeated three Top 25 opponents and Alabama has played just one. They won and I'm not saying they wouldn't defeat other Top 25 teams because I believe that they would. But they haven't played any whereas LSU has and we know the outcome.
Burrow vs Tagovailoa is must-see TV and the one who does better in this game will likely win the Heisman and I think that player is Burrow. His numbers against great teams are incredible and the Tigers have a better offensive backfield than Alabama does. If Tagovailoa and Harris can't play, all the better but LSU is too deep and more talented than Alabama.
I'm taking the points and playing LSU to cover the spread.
Prediction: LSU +6.5
Full-Game Total Pick
This game opened at 63 points and now is at 65 points probably because folks believe this is going to be a shootout. Maybe it will be but the UNDER is 5-0 over their past five meetings. Both sides have tremendous offenses with high profile quarterbacks, but both sides boast top 25 defenses and that is going to make things difficult for the offenses to play like they are used to playing. This is going to be a smashmouth football game and I don't see this game reaching 65 points.
I will play UNDER in this game.
Prediction: Under 65 Points
