San Francisco 49ers vs. Green Bay Packers
NFL Week 6: Monday, October 15th 2018 8:25 PM EST TIME
It is time for Monday Night Football as the San Francisco 49ers will take on the Green Bay Packers. This matchup should have been a huge one to watch as Jimmy G and the rising 49ers will take on the elite Green Bay Packers. However with Jimmy G sidelined for the rest of the season, and the Packers a hit or miss this season, this could be a pivotal game on what will happen next for both teams.
49ers Back Down To Earth
The San Francisco 49ers went back down to earth as they fell at home against the Arizona Cardinals. The week before they almost knocked off the Los Angeles Chargers as that was the first start with C.J. Beathard at quarterback. With that close win, some fans viewed this as a turning point for the 49ers as they could still win some games without their main quarterback. However in their recent game against the Arizona Cardinals, they could not get anything going as they fell as home favorites. Now the 49ers come back on the road to take on the Green Bay Packers. Here is why everyone should avoid the 49ers spread this time around.

Beathard is currently averaging 16.1 points per game with the 49ers when he is a starter and has only won one game in the past eight games. Now going up against a heated Packers team that should of easily won against the Lions will be even more difficult. Remember this is a Monday Night game. Beathard will not be able to handle the heat.
Missing Field Goals
The Green Bay Packers were one of the most betted on team heading into their Week 6 game. I know I was one of them as they seemed to have the best value taking on the Detroit Lions. However they did not pull off the win mostly due to the fact of Mason Crosby missing so many field goals. The veteran kicker would miss four field goals and an extra point as the Packers could not take the win home. Now they are looking up in the standings as they are not the top dog anymore in the division. Right now the Chicago Bears are looking down on the Packers as Green Bay most win this game in order to stay in the hunt.

On the season so far Aaron Rodgers is completing his normal 64% percent of his passes while logging in a large amount of yards which has totaled 1,572 passing yards. On the season he has ten touchdowns and one interception. With the way the 49ers were unable to stop rookie Josh Rosen, expect Rodgers to try and hook up with Jimmy Graham and grow that connection more!
GREEN BAY PACKERS
- Packers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
- Packers are 19-9-1 ATS in their last 29 games in October.
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
- 49ers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 vs. NFC.
- 49ers are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game.
- 49ers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
- 49ers are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games in October.
The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.
Full-Game Side Bet
This spread line may seem difficult to cover, but the Green Bay Packers have already covered a large spread taking on the Buffalo Bills. Speaking of that Bills game, I can see this game heading in that direction as Aaron Rodgers showcases why he deserves to get talked about ever since Drew Brees broke some historic NFL records. Take the Packers.
Prediction: Green Bay Packers -9.5
Full-Game Total Pick
If Aaron Rodgers is going to want to showcase why he is the best, he needs to score and often. They will as the trends are also in their favor as the Over is 10-2 in Packers last 12 vs. a team with a losing record and is 21-5 in Packers last 26 vs. NFC.
