Arizona Cardinals vs Kansas City Chiefs
NFL Week 10: Sunday, November 11th 2018 1:00 PM EST TIME
One of the largest spreads this whole season, as the Arizona Cardinals are being gifted with a two touchdown lead as they head into Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. For the Chiefs, they have been red-hot with their potential MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes as this should be another cake walk for him.
The Arizona Cardinals have had their highs and lows this season with most of it being at the bottom of the barrel. Coming into this game, it will be all QB Josh Rosen as the Cardinals recently cut QB Sam Bradford as he clearly was the not the answer in Arizona. Even though the Cardinals are almost near having the worst offense in the league right next to the Buffalo Bills, they enter this game with some slight momentum and edge. In week 8, they were able to defeat the San Francisco 49ers at home with the final score of 18-15. The Cardinals would storm a massive comeback where they would drop 15 points in the final quarter to destroy the heart of the 49ers bettors. In the next week, it was all about relaxing up as they took week 9 off with their bye and re-focused for their tough challenge ahead. Can the Cardinals at least make it close?

If Arizona wants to make it close, they need their young players of QB Josh Rosen and RB David Johnson to really take storm. With Mahomes and Hunt leading the way with their explosive charge, they need to almost match that in order to keep up. With Rosen more of a pocket passer, expect a lot of open screens and short passes to lead to big plays. The important thing for the Cardinals is to allow Rosen to get more comfortable in the pocket.
Another Chiefs Blowout Win
The Kansas City Chiefs have been sensational with their explosive offense as they enter this game with a huge win against the Cleveland Browns. They would take home a 37-31 road win as they were able to slow down Baker Mayfield and the Browns hopeful offense. It was a much needed win for the Chiefs as their biggest test so far this season has been to stay consistent, and well they have been all season long. The offense has yet to slow down and it will be showcased once again as they take on an average Arizona defense that will most likely be on the field all day as rookie quarterback Josh Rosen will have problems staying on the field.

Speaking of the explosive offense, let’s take a look on why it could be lethal once again at home. The Chiefs have the highest scoring attack in the league with 36.3 points per game, but interesting fact here, they are also the kings of both total yards and passing offense with 433.4 total yards and 315.9 passing yards per contest. Remember above when I mentioned that the Cardinals will have to match Hunt and Mahomes? Well that is going to be a struggle as Arizona is allowing 143.1 rushing yards per game. Expect Hunt to take off in this one.
- Chiefs are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games in Week 10.
- Chiefs are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
- Chiefs are 14-2 ATS in their last 16 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
- Chiefs are 12-2 ATS in their last 14 games overall.
- Chiefs are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game.
- Cardinals are 7-16-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
- Cardinals are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 road games.
- Cardinals are 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 games in November.
- Cardinals are 3-12-2 ATS in their last 17 games following a straight up win.
The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.
Full-Game Side Bet
Kansas City has been a monster at home this season as they are 9-1 straight up and 7-3 against the spread in its last 10 home games. No need to hope that the Cardinals can still cover with the large spread, when you can back the most explosive offense that will have a field day all game long. Take the Chiefs here.
Prediction: KANSAS CITY -16.5
Full-Game Total Pick
As stated above, the Kansas City offense is going to go off. Now their defense is not the best in the world as they did manage to allow over 20 points to the Cleveland Browns. With that in mind, do expect the Cardinals to break out some explosive plays especially with David Johnson. Coming into this game the over is 4-1-1 in Chiefs last 6 games following a straight up win of more than 14 points as well as 4-1 in Chiefs last 5 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
