The Philadelphia Eagles will be going for their second consecutive win when they take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.
Cowboys Trying To Snap Two-Game Losing Streak
The Cowboys came into the season hoping to win the NFC East, but things haven’t gone as planned. After eight games, the Cowboys are 3-5 and sit in third place in the division behind the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys have also lost their last two games and they will be trying to snap their losing streak against the Eagles on Sunday night.

With their offense struggling, the Cowboys traded a first-round pick to the Oakland Raiders for Amari Cooper. In his first game with the Cowboys, Cooper had five receptions for 58 yards and one touchdown, but the team lost to the Tennessee Titans 28-14.
Dak Prescott has completed 62.9 percent of his passes for 1,660 yards, 10 touchdowns, and five interceptions. He also has 247 rushing yards and one touchdown. Ezekiel Elliott is fourth in the league with 680 rushing yards, but he has only three rushing touchdowns this season.
Defensively, the Cowboys are giving up 18.9 points per game, which is third in the league, but they didn’t play well against the Titans, who have one of the worst offenses in the league. If their defense doesn’t step up against the Eagles, the Cowboys will likely lose their third consecutive game.
Eagles Looking For Third Win In Four Games
The Eagles bounced back from a two-game losing streak by winning two of their last three games. They will be trying to win their second game in a row and their third in their last four contests when they face the Cowboys on Sunday night.
The Eagles got some good news this week when team doctors cleared running back Darren Sproles and offensive lineman Lane Johnson to play this week, giving them depth at positions they have been thin at because of injuries.

Carson Wentz has played well since his return from offseason surgery and has completed 70.7 percent of his passes for 1,788 yards, 13 touchdowns, and two interceptions. He has also lost seven fumbles this season.
Golden Tate will make his debut with the Eagles this week after getting traded to Philadelphia during their bye week. Tate has 44 catches for 517 yards and three touchdowns this season. He faced the Cowboys as a member of the Detroit Lions earlier this season and finished the game with eight receptions for 132 yards and two touchdowns. The Eagles will be hoping for another a similar effort from him when they play Dallas on Sunday.
Defensively, the Eagles have also played well this season, holding opponents to 19.5 points per game, which is fifth in the league. If they can keep pressure on Prescott and keep Elliott in check, they should be able to get the win.
