Houston Texans vs. Washington Redskins
NFL Week 11: Sunday, November 18th, 2018 1:00 PM EST TIME
The Houston Texans have taken over their division as they have been on a winning streak since they started the season 0-3. Now they take on the underrated Washington Redskins who are taking the NFC East by storm.
After the three-game losing streak, the Houston Texans were at the bottom of the league. I suggested to the viewers months ago to jump on the odds that the Texans will win the division as they have the most talent on the division with plenty of time to catch up. Well here we are in Week 11 as the Houston Texans have found a way to climb all the way to the top of the division. They have won six games in a row as they are not going to be slowed down any time soon. In their most recent game, they escaped a last-second scare against the Denver Broncos as a missed field goal was the deciding factor with seconds left on the clock.

Houston’s defense has been a huge reason for its success the past six winning weeks as they have allowed just 20.4 points per game so far this season. With the defense really starting to click , the offense along with quarterback DeShaun Watson and wide receiver DeAndrew Hopkins has really started to take off.
HTTR For First
The Washington Redskins have been one of the most underrated teams this season as they are taking the NFC East with a grain of salt and taking it home. The division is practically in their hands, as long as they keep this winning streak going which has been impressive thus far. Washington has won three of the past four games but has had some impressive wins at home this season. Those wins coming against the Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers. Washington now has a two-game cushion atop the division and will take the huge lead if they manage to knock off the hottest team in the NFL right now.

The biggest surprise on the season has been veteran running back Adrian Peterson who has a total of 672 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the season. However, the biggest fact about the Redskins is the defense as they are the 4th best team in the NFL in points allowed with less than 20 points per game. They never make mistakes twice in the game as this one will go down to the wire.
- Redskins are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
- Redskins are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
- Redskins are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games on grass.
- Texans are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.
- Texans are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games overall.
- Texans are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games on grass.
- Texans are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.
- Texans are 1-4 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
The Bottom Line What to bet on this game.
Full-Game Side Bet
I’m taking the gamble here. I’ve been perfect on my Washington Redskins bets so far this season as I called the win against Carolina and Green Bay. However I do not see the Redskins winning this game, but I do see them covering at least. Give me the field goal advantage as this game will end with the final score of 21-20 Texans.
Prediction: WASHINGTON REDSKINS +3.0
Full-Game Total Pick
The Houston Texans offense could not get it going against a tough Broncos defense last week as I see the same going up against an even tougher Redskins defense. Take the Under as it is 7-1 in Texans last 8 games on grass as well as 6-1 in Texans last 7 games following a straight up win.
