The Chiefs shook off their loss to the New England Patriots by reeling off four consecutive wins. They will be trying to keep the momentum going and create some distance in the race for the best record in the AFC by winning their fifth consecutive game when they face the Rams.

Patrick Mahomes has been phenomenal this season and is one of the front-runners for the MVP Award. The second-year player has completed 67 percent of his passes for 3,150 yards, 31 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He also has 158 rushing yards and two touchdowns this season.
Kareem Hunt has also played well for the Chiefs, who have one of the best rushing attacks in the league. Hunt has 754 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. He also has 23 catches for 337 yards and six touchdowns.
Defensively, the Chiefs struggled earlier in the season but they have played well in their last four games, giving up 17 points per game. If they can hold the Rams under 30 points, they should be able to get the win.
Rams Need To Play Better Defensively
The Rams got off to a great start this season, winning their first eight games. They suffered their first loss of the season against the New Orleans Saints because they struggled defensively. They bounced back from the loss with a win over the Seattle Seahawks, but they also struggled defensively in that game.
Los Angeles will need to turn things around on the defensive end if they want to defeat the Chiefs on Monday night.

Offensively, the Rams are averaging 33.5 points per game, which is third in the league. Jared Goff has also played well this season and will get a few MVP votes at the end of the season. Goff has completed 68.4 percent of his passes for 3,134 yards, 22 touchdowns, and six interceptions.
The engine that drives Los Angeles’ offense is Todd Gurley II, who leads the team and the league in rushing with 988 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also has 40 receptions for 402 yards and five touchdowns.
The Rams will be without Cooper Kupp, who suffered an ACL injury in their last game. Kupp has 40 receptions for 566 yards and six touchdowns.
