The Tennessee Titans will be trying to keep their playoff hopes alive when they face the Jacksonville Jaguars in this week’s edition of Thursday Night Football.
Jaguars Going For Second Consecutive Win
The Jaguars managed to snap their seven-game losing streak while handing a big blow to the Indianapolis Colts, who fell further behind the Houston Texans in the AFC South title race. They will be trying to keep the momentum going and win their second consecutive game when they face the Titans.
6-0 win for #6.

Jacksonville had a great game on the defensive end, shutting out a Colts team that was averaging 34.6 points per game in their last five games. They held the Colts to 265 total yards and forced two turnovers. They will need another solid effort from their defense to beat the Titans on Thursday night.
Offensively, the Jaguars didn’t look very good, but backup quarterback Cody Kessler did a great job protecting the ball, which was a problem the team had with Blake Bortles, who lost his starting job after their loss to the Buffalo Bills in their previous game.
Kessler finished the game completing 75 percent of his passes for 150 yards. With Leonard Fournette back in the lineup this week, the Jacksonville offense should look better than it did against the Colts.
Titans Looking For Fourth Win In Six Games
The Titans managed to snap their two-game losing streak with a win over the New York Jets in their last game and will be trying to keep their postseason hopes alive with a win over the Jaguars on Thursday night.

Tennessee will be going into this game with a lot of confidence now that their losing streak is over because they won their first meeting with the Jaguars 9-6. With the game being played in Nashville, the Titans have to take advantage of their home field advantage.
Offensively, the Titans have been inconsistent, but they played well in the second half of their win over the Jets.
Marcus Mariota completed 57 percent of his passes for 282 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. He also added 43 rushing yards on four carries. The team will need another solid effort from him to beat the Jaguars on Thursday.
Defensively, the Titans struggle against the run, giving up 156 yards to the Jets. They will need to play better against the run against a Jacksonville team that likes to run the ball. If they can keep Leonard Fournette in check on Thursday, they should be able to get the win.

The Jaguars managed six points in their first game against the Titans and they will struggle once again because the Titans are playing well on the defensive end and the Jaguars managed only six points in their last game.
Prediction: Jaguars – Total Points Under 16.5
Half-Time Side Pick
The Jaguars will win the first half of this game because they have played better than the Titans in the first half of their last three games. Both teams are putting up similar offensive numbers with the Titans averaging 12.3 points per game, while the Jaguars average 13 points per game. However, the Jaguars have played better defensively, giving up 14.3 points per game while the Titans are giving up 19.3 points per game.
Prediction: Jacksonville Jaguars +3
Half-Time Total Bet
The Titans and Jaguars are averaging 25.3 points in the first half of their last three games and they will go over the first half total in this game if they maintain their current pace.
Prediction: Over 18.5

The Titans are averaging 6.3 points per game in the first half of their last three games and they will have a hard time going over 10.5 points against a Jaguars team that is giving up 8.7 points per game in the first half of their last three games.
