The Western Conference showdown between the San Jose Sharks (8-4-3) and the Dallas Stars (8-6-1) is set for Thursday night in Dallas and should be a pure joy to watch. The Sharks are currently topping the Pacific Division, while the Stars are 3rd in the Central Division and two points behind the Sharks on the Western Conference table.

The Sharks are searching for their third win in a row

After four consecutive games at home, the San Jose Sharks will hit the road to meet the Dallas Stars for the first time this season, and the Sharks are 4-2-2 in their eight outings away from home in this term. They have won two games in a row beating the Minnesota Wild 4-3 and the Philadelphia Flyers 4-3 in the overtime thanks to their best goalscorer Timo Meier who has netted 11 times this season, as Meier hit the winner just 13 seconds into the overtime.
