Since Austin Riley hit his last home run on July 9 he’s gone 2-18, but that included a IL stint as the Braves return home to face the Royals.

Kansas City will send 45 year old Rich Hill to the mound and although he didn’t give up a home run in five innings during his first start this season, we think that changes tonight.

Against Hill all-time Riley is 2-3 with a triple and home run and against lefties this season Riley is batting .270.

At home Riley is batting .286 compared to a .249 batting average on the road and in Hill’s last full season in 2024 he allowed 23 total home runs with 22 of those coming against right handed batters while allowing a .510 slugging percentage.

Riley has just 14 home runs in 96 games which is a far cry from the 37 home runs he hit in 2023, but he has the capability to get to 20 home runs this season to say the least.

Take Riley to hit a home run at +265 odds with other Braves batters to consider for a home run include Ronald Acuna Jr. (+310) and Marcell Ozuna (+400).

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Corey Seager (TEX) +240

Jack Kochanowicz has a chance to redeem himself tonight against a Rangers team he last faced on July 10 going 2.2 innings while allowing eight earned runs.

He didn’t allow a home run in that game, but was promptly sent down to the minors until tonight. We think lefty Corey Seager has a solid chance to hit a home run tonight batting .346 in July while slugging .654.

Over the last seven days Seager is batting .318 with a .682 slugging percentage and has loved playing the Angels in general this season going 15-24 with three home runs and eight RBIs.

Kochanowicz has allowed 16 home runs this season and although only five of them have come at home, he’s still allowing all batters to hit .329 in home starts and allowing left handed batters to hit .302 to go along with a .507 slugging percentage.

Should Kochanowicz exit the game and Seager not have a home run, he still has a great chance to hit one out with a home run against Angels relievers Jose Quijada and Ryan Zeferjahn in his career.

Take Seager to hit a home run at +250 with other Rangers hitters to take advantage of for a home run include Adolis Garcia (+400) and Marcus Semien (+475).
