NFL Most Rushing Yards Odds and Betting Advice For The 2025 Season!

2025 NFL Most Rushing Yards Odds (DraftKings)

Last season we cashed in on Saquon Barkley at +650 odds but +275 doesn’t offer much in the way of value this season when there is a field of 10+ running backs who could lead the league.

Bijan Robinson finished with 1,456 rushing yards season which ranked 3rd in the NFL. That was a decent amount behind both Saquon Barkley (2,005) and Derrick Henry (1,921) but Robinson fell only three yards short of what Christian McCaffrey led the league with in 2022-24.

Robinson does share carries with another capable back in Tyler Allgeier, but the workload is trending more & more towards Robinson as he accounted for 66.9% of the Atlanta Falcons rushing attempts compared to 47.5% in the previous season.

The Falcons offensive line led the NFL with an 82.8 run blocking grade in 2024 is they still have the top-graded guard in Chris Lindstrom (94.6) despite the departure of Drew Dalman.

Their line still sets up to dominate in the running game and Michael Penix Jr’s arm can keep defenses honest unlike Kirk Cousins who was pressured 156 times and sacked 27 times while recovering from an Achilles injury.

Robinson thrived in three games with Penix Jr at the helm, running the ball 67 times for 354 yards good for an average of 5.3 rushing yards per carry.

That type of production will be tough to sustain but it averages out to just over 2,000 rushing yards if Robinson plays in all 17 games like he did in both of his first two NFL seasons.

2025 Most Rushing Yards Sleeper Prediction: James Cook, Bills (+5000)

Our longshot last season was James Cook at +4000 and his +5000-price tag makes him an intriguing option if he gets an increased carry share.

Cook finished 16th in rushing yards (1,009) but he did rank 7th with 4.87 yards per carry. Problem is, Cook ranked 38th in snap share (48%) and 28th in carry share (45.2%) among NFL running backs during the 2024 campaign.

However, the Buffalo Bills do have the 4th best offensive line entering 2025 (according to PFF) anchored by one of the NFL’s best tackle duos in Spencer Brown and Dion Dawkins.

Money could also be a motivational factor for the Georgia product as he’s entering the final year of his rookie deal while looking for an average annual salary of $15 million per year ($5.7 million in 2025).

Durability is obviously important, and Cook has played 16+ games in each of his first three NFL seasons. We may need a Ray Davis injury to cash this 50-1 ticket as Cook clearly needs to find an increased workload.
