MLB Player Props Today for Friday: Brenton Doyle, Rockies OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-145)

Colorado Rockies outfielder Brenton Doyle has been heating up at the dish recently with 2+ HRR in 4 of his last 6 games and a home run in 3 of his last 6 games including last night’s solo job.

Doyle has thrived at Coors Field where he’s covered this HRR line in 59% of his games compared to only 31% of his games on the road.

Now Doyle has the opportunity to feast on Brandon Pfaadt who he’s gone 6-12 (.500) against with a triple.

Pfaadt just managed to hold the Rockies three earned runs in Arizona last week but he did allow 11 hits. He also allowed 4 earned runs across 5 innings pitched at Coors Field in late June and he’s posted an ugly 6.55 ERA on the road this season.

Pfaadt is backed by a horrendous Diamondbacks bullpen that ranks bottom 5 across the board on the season and we have favorable hitting conditions with temps close to 85 degrees and wind blowing out the right-field at 9 mph.

You don’t get many over 1.5 HRR lines in general at Coors Field, especially for a hot hitter like Doyle who has thrived against the opposing pitcher.

MLB Player Props Today for Friday: Roman Anthony, Red Sox OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-150)

Boston Red Sox rookie Roman Anthony has covered this HRR line in 11 of his last 15 games while logging a hit in 13 of those games.

Anthony has also recorded 2+ total bases in 10 of his last 15 games with two home runs in his last three games.

Now Anthony gets his first look Miami Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara who has been shelled in back-to-back outings where he’s allowed a combined 11 earned runs on 16 hits across 12 innings of work.

Alcantara has really struggled on the road where he’s posted a horrendous 8.87 ERA and .326 OBA. Anthony is a left-handed slugger who has hit slightly better against right-handed pitching with a .281/.424/.438 slash line across 121 at-bats.

Alcantara will be backed by a bullpen that has performed well below average as the Marlins pen ranks 21st in ERA (4.68) and 19th in OBA (.319) during the last 30 days. Anthony will be leading off against vulnerable pitching in the hitter’s paradise that is Fenway Park.
