What are his Premier League best bets heading into this weekend? Find out below!

Arsenal vs Leeds | August 23 | 12:30 PM ET

Arsenal -360 | Leeds +870 | Draw +515

Arsenal faced a tougher than expected time of it in last weekend’s opening fixture against Manchester United as they won by the minimum against a spirited Red Devils side who really didn’t deserve to lose based on their performance.

However, Arsenal won’t care about that as they look to bank six points from their opening two games of the season in what’s expected to be a highly competitive Premier League title race this year.

This week’s opponents for Arsenal, Leeds, enjoyed a solid win themselves last week, overcoming Everton 1-0 at home thanks to a late Lukas Nmecha penalty near the end of the game.

However, last season’s Championship winners will face a far trickier test this weekend against an Arsenal side that should be much better at home than they were last week against United.

In fact, no team in the Premier League was better at home last season inside the first-half of games than Arsenal were last season, racking up a mightily impressive 2.32 PPG on average (champions Liverpool owned a much lower 1.95 PPG rating by comparison), with the Gunners also owning a clean sheet percentage of 79% as well.

Arsenal played poorly last week no question, generating just 0.28 xG from open play against Manchester United, but we’re expecting a much better performance from them here at home on Saturday.

Premier League Predictions: 1H Arsenal ML (-140)

Everton vs Brighton | August 24 | 9:00 AM ET

Everton +205 | Brighton +140 | Draw +225

Both teams will likely be disappointed with their opening results from last week, with Brighton giving up a late strike against Fulham deep into injury time to squander all three points, while Everton slipped to a 1-0 defeat against newly-promoted Leeds away from home also.

The Toffees will play their first Premier League game at their new stadium on Sunday, with old fortress Goodison Park now moving over to the women’s team.

Goodison was always a tough place to play, however, and it’ll be interesting to see if the Everton fans can turn their new home of Hill Dickinson Stadium into the same sort of cauldron atmosphere that teams had to contend with in years past.

No matter what the atmosphere is like inside the stadium, however, Brighton have already proven themselves as a formidable first-half side recently, with the Seagulls ranking 5th in the league last season in first-half form away from home.

Everton, by comparison, were largely poor inside the opening 45 minutes last season, with only two teams owning a higher failure to score rate at home inside the first-half of games than what Everton managed.

Brighton won this same meeting in Liverpool last year by a comprehensive 3-0 scoreline, and given how thin Everton’s squad looks currently, we wouldn’t bet against that happening again.

Premier League Predictions: 1H Brighton +0 (-120)

Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest | August 24 | 9:00 AM ET

Crystal Palace +130 | Nottingham Forest +215 | Draw +230

Unlike Brighton and Everton in the previous matchup, both Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace will be entering Sunday’s contest in confident form after two extremely bright performances in Week 1.

Nottingham Forest ran out easy winners against Brentford last week, putting three goals past the Bees inside just the opening 45 minutes as they romped home with room to spare.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, generated an equally impressive result in their game, holding Chelsea to a 0-0 draw in West London, although the news of Eberechi Eze’s imminent departure across town to Arsenal will no doubt dampen those spirits.

It’s actually been defense and not offense; however, that has been Crystal Palace’s main strength going back to last season, especially early on in games, with the Eagles closing out 55% of their games last season with a clean sheet inside the first-half.

On top of that, Crystal Palace enter Sunday’s matchup on an impressive run of zero defeats and nine wins from their last eleven home games, so they should be well set up here for this weekend’s clash against Nottingham Forest.

Take the Eagles to deliver early on Sunday against the Tricky Trees.

Premier League Prediction: 1H Crystal Palace +0 (-135)
