Expert WNBA Props for Friday: Aliyah Boston, Fever OVER 8.5 Rebounds (-102)
Aliyah Boston has covered this line in 10 of her last 12 games including each her last two games with 13 rebounds against the Connecticut Sun and 9 rebounds against the Washington Mystics.
Now Boston gets a matchup against a Minnesota Lynx team that she has cleared this line against in 7 of her 8 career head-to-head meetings including an 11-rebound effort in her lone game in 2025.
Boston gets the majority of rebounds off rim and mid-range attempts, and Minnesota allows the 2nd and 3rd highest rebound percentage in those categories.
The Indiana Fever are slipping out of playoff contention and head coach Stephanie White has stressed the need for her team to fight for boards.
Napheesa Collier remains on the shelf with an ankle injury and that means there is one less big body to contend with on the Lynx side.
Indiana has the rest advantage with Minnesota coming off a tight road loss last night. The shorthanded Lynx could be dealing with tired legs and a hustle player like Boston can take advantage of that in what is starting to feel like a must-win game.
Expert WNBA Props for Friday: Tiffany Hayes, Valkyries OVER 18.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-125)
Tiffany Hayes was a late scratch in her last game, but she doesn’t have an injury designation tonight and if she does miss the game, it’s a voided ticket at worst.
The Golden State Valkyries definitely need her on the court as they were already dealing with injuries and now Cecilia Zandalasini is listed as out, and Iliana Rupert & Carla Leite are listed as questionable.
Hayes already recorded a 22 PRA effort against the Phoenix Mercury in a game in mid-July where Kayla Thornton was active.
This is huge pace-up spot for the Valkyries as Phoenix ranks 4th in tempo and Hayes should benefit from that as she leads her team in usage during the last five games.
The Mercury are favored by -6.5 points, but they could be dealing with tired legs on the second leg of a back-to-back.
Golden State is fighting for playoff contention and hayes has cleared this number in 16 of her last 22 games when playing 20+ minutes while averaging 20.4 PRA per game.
