Thursday Night Football Player Props Week 2 | Commanders vs Packers Best Bets & Odds

Jordan Love Thursday Night Football Props - 2025 NFL Week 2

Cowboys vs Eagles Player Props for Week 2!

Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season kicks off with a primetime NFC showdown as the Washington Commanders take on the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football. Sportmemo’s Steve Seagrave is eyeing the top player props for Week 2, with star names like Deebo Samuel and Jordan Love featured in the spotlight.

From passing yards and rushing totals to anytime touchdown scorers, we break down the latest odds, betting lines, and prop markets for Commanders vs Packers to help you get an edge on opening night.

NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: Deebo Samuel, Commanders OVER 62.5 Rush + Receiving Yards (-110)

Deebo Samuel is coming off a dynamic Week 1 performance in his first game with the Washington Commanders where he led the team in receptions (7), targets (10), receiving yards (77) and target share (33%). Samuel also recorded a carry for 19 yards that resulted in a touchdown.

The Green Bay Packers defense ran zone coverage on 91% of their snaps in Week 1 and while that is a ridiculously high number with only a one-week sample size, it follows a trend that developed last season where they utilized zone coverage on 78% of their snaps (2nd Most).

Deebo has thrived in exploiting zone coverage throughout his career and that continued in Week 1 which was very encouraging after a down year during the 2024 campaign.

Kliff Kingsbury loves to employ screens and pre-snap motion so Samuel should continue to see 1-2 handoffs per game on designed plays.

Terry McLaurin missed the majority of training camp due to a contract dispute so Samuel should continue to be Jayden Daniels favorite target.

The Commanders are 3.5-point underdogs against a Packers team that just beat the Detroit Lions 27-13, and the total is set 48.5 so Washington may need to utilize the passing game even more than last week.

NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: Jordan Love, Packers OVER 5.5 Rushing Yards (-130)

Last season Jordan Love dealt with a groin injury and MCL sprain and his rushing yards dipped to 87 after running for 247 yards during the 2023 campaign.

However, Matt LaFleur, offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich and Love himself all agreed that he needed to improve upon that part of his game.

In Week 1, Love finished with just 3 carries for 5 yards but one of those carries was a kneel that hooked him on this line.

Last season when Love logged 2+ carries, he covered this line in 5/6 games while averaging 12.3 rushing yards per game.

New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson managed to record 8 carries for 44 yards in Week 1 against the Washington Commanders despite producing only 231 yards of total offense in a 21-6 loss.

Washington did allow the 10th most rushing attempts to opposing quarterbacks during the 2024 campaign (4.8/game).

If a 36-year-old quarterback can rush for 40+ yards there is no reason why Love can’t log 6+ yards in a game with a total set at 48.5.
