The 23-year-old phenom will get another opportunity to feast on Colin Rea who he’s gone 7-16 (.438) against with two home runs, a triple, a double and 7 RBI.

Rea is a middle-of-road starting pitcher who just allowed 3 earned runs on 7 hits across 5.1 innings of work against the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Cincinnati Reds hammered Rea for a combined 12 earned runs on 17 hits (4HR) across 10.2 innings pitched in back-to-back outings in late-May.

The Cubs bullpen has been elite during the last 30 days, but I see De La Cruz getting the job done against Rea.

Especially considering he’s projected to bat 3rd tonight after being dropped in the Reds batting order during recent games.
