Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season kicks off with a primetime Ravens vs Dolphins AFC showdown on Thursday Night Football. Sportmemo’s Steve Seagrave is eyeing the top player props for Week 9, with star names like Lamar Jackson and De’Von Achane featured in the spotlight.

NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: Lamar Jackson, Ravens UNDER 6.5 Rush Attempts (-118)

Lamar Jackson is set to return after missing four games due to a hamstring injury but I’m not sure he’s 100% after missing what was essentially a must-win game last week against the Chicago Bears.

Jackson fell short of this line in 3 of 4 games to open the season when he was fully healthy and his lone over was a 7-rush attempt effort.

The Miami Dolphins blitz at the 4th highest rate in the NFL but they rank below average in pressure rate. An opposing quarterback hasn’t eclipsed 4 rush attempts against Miami in their last four games and only 3/8 have cleared this line on the season with two quarterbacks landing on 7 rush attempts exactly.

I don’t see many designed runs from the Ravens as they need Jackson on the field if they have any hope of being part of the postseason. I also think Jackson is less likely to scramble in his first game back with a tender hammy.

NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: De’Von Achane, Dolphins OVER 32.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

De’Von Achane has actually fallen short of this line in six straight games, but he’s logged 22+ receiving yards in five of those games and the Miami Dolphins should see a pass heavy game script as -7.5-point underdogs.

Achane has been heavily targeted with 5+ looks in four straight games & 6 of his last 7 games and his target share is up to 21.2% after seeing 15.3% of targets in 2024.

Opposing quarterbacks rank 5th in pass attempts against the Baltimore Ravens 39.7 attempts per game. The total is set at 51.5, Lamar Jackson is set to return, and we haven’t seen a game fall short of 57 points in his four games as a starter.

Dolphin home games have also been extremely high scoring as nine straight games have exceeded the total dating back to late September 2024.

We know Achane is going to get looks and I actually think his over 5.5 receptions is a strong look at plus money, but I prefer the yards as he could bust this line with one big grab.
