Expert NBA Player Props for Thursday: Devin Booker, Suns OVER 7.5 Assists (-125)

Devin Booker has only cleared this line in 3/8 games, but he’s landed on 7 assists exactly twice and he’s seen a ton of volume with an average of 16.3 potential assists per game.

One of those 7 assist games occurred on October 24th in a game against the Los Angeles Clippers where Booker logged 13 potential assists despite playing only 28 minutes due to a 29-point blowout.

The Clippers have allowed the MOST assists to opposing point guards and the 4th most assist overall thus far in the 2025 campaign.

Los Angeles also allows the 3rd most assists to above-the-break threes and Booker is 2nd in the NBA in that area.

Jalen Green is set to make his debut with Phoenix tonight, but he isn’t known for his playmaking ability, and he’ll give Booker another option as a passer.

The Suns are -3.5-point home favorites due to Kawhi Leonard & James Harden being on the shelf so we should avoid a blowout, and Booker should benefit from some friendly bounces due to home cooking.

Expert NBA Player Props for Thursday: Ivica Zubac, Clippers OVER 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110)

Kawhi Leonard (ankle) & James Harden (personal) have both been ruled out for this contest and Ivica Zubac has averaged a 22.5% usage rate with those two players off the court dating back to beginning of the 2024 campaign.

Last season, when Zubac saw a usage rate of 20% or higher he covered this line in 30 of 39 games (77%).

Zubac dominated in his lone head-to-head matchup against Mark Williams in a game where he logged 17 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists in just 28 minutes of play.

Phoenix has allowed the 5th most offensive rebounds this season and they rank dead last against putback shots where Zubac scores 22% of his points.

The Suns have also allowed the 8th most points to pick-&-roll men this season and Zubac scores another 27% of his points in that role.

The Clippers are still only -3.5-point underdogs despite Leonard & Harden being on the shelf so we should see a competitive contest where Zubac plays close to his season average of 30.5 minutes per game.
