NFL Week 10 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions (+475)

I’ve considered Jahmyr Gibbs on a weekly basis after he led the NFL with 7 first touchdowns during the 2024 campaign and he’s already found the end zone first in two games this season.

Gibbs ranks 4th in red area carries with 31 despite his teammate David Montgomery seeing 19 looks. The Detroit Lions are always dangerous when they are coming off a loss, and they are favored by -7.5 against a Washington Commanders team dealing with another injury to Jayden Daniels.

Although it hasn’t mattered who the starting quarterback in Washington when it pertains to first touchdowns as the Commander haven’t struck first since a Week 3 on Marcus Mariota run.

On the season, Lions have scored first in 5/8 games (62.5%) while the Commanders have only scored first in 2/9 games (22.2%).

Gibbs has an anytime touchdown price of -170 as he’s scored in 5 of his last 7 games and I see Lions being locked in early after a divisional loss to Minnesota.

NFL Week 10 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Quinshon Judkins, Cleveland Browns (+360)

The New York Jets are the only team in the NFL that hasn’t scored first this season (0/8), and they just traded away two key defenders in cornerback Sauce Garner & defensive lineman Quinnen Willaims.

The Cleveland Browns rank middle of the pack in scoring first (4/8 games 50%) and their rookie running back Quinshon Judkins has recorded two of those even though it took him a few weeks to get a hold of the #1 running back spot.

Judkins has already recorded 20 red area rushing attempts and he’s averaged over 70 rushing yards through his last six games.

Judkins rushing yard prop sits at 81.5 this week as he’s set to face a bottom 10 rush defense (4.5 YPC) in the New York Jets and he’ll be fresh after the Browns bye week.

Cleveland hasn’t had much of a vertical passing attack with Dillon Gabriel at the helm, but they do have a strong defense that should be able to keep the jets scoring to minimum. The Browns know Judkins is their best option and I fully expect him to see a heavy workload.
