NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: Drake Maye, Patriots OVER 23.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

The New England Patriots are favored by -12.5 points so they should see a run heavy game script after a short week of practice against the New York Jets.

However, Rhamondre Stevenson has already been ruled out for this game, Terrell Jennings is listed as questionable and TreVeyon Henderson is a rookie who still hasn’t seen more than 15 carries in any game.

Drake Maye has seen a consistent workload with 7+ rushing attempts in five straight games while running for 28+ yards in 5 of his last 9 games.

Now Maye is facing a New York Jets team that has allowed the 5th most rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks with an average of 25.9 per game.

We have seen 8 straight opposing quarterbacks eclipse their respective rushing yard lines against the Jets after Dillon Gabriel ran for 54 yards in Week 10.

The Patriots haven’t faced the Jets yet this season, but Maye ran for 46 yards on only three carries in his last head-to-head game against them during the 2024 campaign.

New York has been horrible against the run as they have allowed the 8th most adjusted yards on ground (139/game) and Maye should be able to take full advantage.

NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: Breece Hall, Jets OVER 2.5 Receptions (+118)

Breece Hall has fallen short this line in four straight games after recording 4+ receptions in three straight games, but the New York Jets should see a pass heavy game script as -12.5-point underdogs against the New England Patriots.

Hall has a great opportunity to eclipse this plus money line as the Patriots have allowed the MOST receptions to opposing running backs with 6.1 per game.

We have seen six straight opposing starting running backs clear their respective receptions line against New England after Rachaad White’s 5 reception effort in Week 10.

The Patriots defense has also been very stout against the run as they have allowed the LEAST yards per game to opposing running backs (57.5/game).

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn told reporters that the offense needs to find a way to get ball into their best playmakers hands and Hall has seen 3+ targets in 7/9 games.

Garret Wilson has already been ruled out with a knee injury so it will be even more important to target Hall on Thursday night.
