NFL Week 11 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions (+600)

Jahmyr Gibbs cashed another first touchdown for us last week at +475 odds and he’s in a three-way tie for most first touchdowns with 3 (De’Von Achane/Kyren Williams) this season after leading the NFL with 7 during the 2024 campaign.

Even with David Montgomery seeing 22 red area carries, Gibbs ranks 4th in the league in that category with 41.

The Philadelphia Eagles pass defense has been elite as they have only allowed four wide receiver touchdowns and one tight end touchdown on the season. It’s been four games since either position has hit paydirt against this team.

However, the running back position has recorded 11 touchdowns against Philadelphia (8 on the ground/3 through the air).

Gibbs abused the Washington Commanders last week with 172 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns (2 Rush/1 Rec) in a 44-22 victory.

Gibbs saw five red zone looks in that contest while Montgomery only saw two, so we have to look his way again in Week 11.

NFL Week 11 First Touchdown Props Prediction: De’Von Achane Miami Dolphins (+450)

After watching Jahmyr Gibbs absolutely torch the Washington Commanders for 172 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns in Week 10 (including 1st TD), we have to back De’Von Achane in Week 11.

Achane is locked in a three-way tie for most first touchdowns with 3 (Gibbs/Kyren Williams) this season after recording four first TDs during the 2024 campaign. Achane has logged nine team first touchdowns during the past season and a half.

Now Achane has the opportunity to feast on Commanders defense that has allowed the 4th most rushing yards (107.6/game), 8th most receiving yards (36.3/game) and 3rd most receiving touchdowns (3) against opposing running backs while also ranking below average in RB rushing touchdowns allowed.

Washington’s offense is very limited now with Jayden Daniels on the shelf (elbow) as Marcus Mariota is basically a game manager.

The Dolphins have also been better in striking first in general with a first TD in 6/10 games (60%) compared the Commanders who have scored first in only 2/10 games (20%).
