Wolves vs Crystal Palace | November 22 | 10:00 AM ET

Wolves +285 | Crystal Palace -105 | Draw +255

After a disastrous start to the campaign that has seen Wolves remain as the only team in the league yet to secure a single win this season, there was finally some good news in the Molineux dugout last week as former long-time defender Rob Edwards was appointed full-time manager at the club.

Edward’s will be Wolves’ fifth manager in the last four years, and has his work cut out for him also as no team has ever survived in the Premier League from where Wolves sit currently at the bottom of the table on just two points.

That said, Edwards is a hugely popular figure in the West Midlands, growing up for a part in nearby Telford, and making over 100 appearances for the club in the mid 2000s.

Having the international break to get organized should galvanize the team around him as well before this weekend’s game kicks off, and that focus should be firmly on defense as Wolves have been incredibly poor defensively this season, allowing 25 goals, five times as many as first-place Arsenal have allowed.

Facing Wolves and Edwards this Saturday are a Crystal Palace side that have cooled off considerably since their electric start to the season back in August and September.

Since then, the Eagles have won just one of their last five Premier League games overall, and have looked far from settled at the back, alternating between tight defensive displays and looking completely clueless at times, depending on whichever Saturday it seems to be.

Crystal Palace are in the 6th-worst form in the league right now based on last five-game sample size, and if Wolves are ever going to kick their season into gear, this is the game they need to target against a currently misfiring Eagles side.

Premier League Predictions: Under 2.5 (-125)

Brighton vs Brentford | November 22 | 10:00 AM ET

Brighton -105 | Brentford +300 | Draw +255

Both Brentford and Brighton remain locked in mid-table currently on 16 points apiece, so a win on Saturday for either side would go a long way into propelling them into the top-half of the table heading into the Christmas period.

However, despite being one of the most in-form teams in the country right now, generating an impressive 1.80 PPG on average across their last five starts, Brentford haven’t looked half as good on the road, with 13 of their 16 points coming at home for them this season.

A large part of that downgrade for Brentford has been a road defense that has given up almost 60% of their total goals away from home this season, giving up multiple goals to opponents in all but one of their road games so far.

Brighton, meanwhile, have been much stronger offensively at home by comparison, with eight of their eleven goals from open play coming at the Amex this season, as well as their xG per shot ratio rising from 0.11 to 0.13 also.

The last encounter between these two sides back in April of this year saw six goals being scored, with almost 30 total shots also.

While we might not quite reach those highs on a cold November day down on the south coast this weekend, there is more than enough firepower on both of these teams to see this total crack three at a minimum.

Premier League Predictions: Over 2.75 (-115)

Manchester United vs Everton | November 24 | 3:00 PM ET

Manchester United +120 | Everton +230 | Draw +230

Two teams that have been looking a lot better of late pair up in the final game of this week’s EPL card as Everton make the short trip east to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The Toffees bounced back with a win two weeks ago against Fulham, a result that moved them further away from the danger zone at the foot of the table.

Manchester United, meanwhile, came off a pulsating 2-2 draw against Tottenham back on November 8th, securing a very late equalizer thanks to Matthijs de Ligt, ensuring the Red Devils took home an equal share of the spoils down in London.

That puts United on 12 goals scored since October 1st, the #1 record in the league across that timeframe, yet we don’t envision another shootout happening here on Monday.

Everton have been compact at the back when it matters this season, holding heavyweights Manchester City and Liverpool quiet for long stretches in their two respective road games against them this year, and we expect yet another tight defensive display from the Toffees to cap off this weekend’s games also.

With United’s xG per shot ratio actually being higher away from home this season as well, Monday night’s game might well prove to be lower scoring than initially expected.

Premier League Prediction: Under 2.75 (-115)
