NFL Week 12 Touchdown Props Prediction: Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears (+165)

The key to this play is Rome Odunze playing against man coverage where he’s dominated the target share at a 30% rate compared to a 23% target share against zone coverage.

Odunze has faced four teams ranked top 8 in man coverage and logged 7 catches for 128 yards & 2 touchdowns against the Detroit Lions, 7/114 against the Baltimore Ravens, 6/86/2 TD against the New York Giants and 2/32 against the Washington Commanders.

Although he did have a short TD nullified in a ticky-tack illegal formation penalty against Washington. The Pittsburgh Steelers play man coverage at the 5th highest rate in the NFL, and they have allowed the MOST wide receiver yards with 186 per game.

The Steelers defense is banged up with four defensive backs on the shelf and Darius Slay is questionable after missing last week’s game.

D’Andre Swift was limited in practice early in the week and he should be available, but Odunze should still be the focal point of this offense.

Odunze scored a touchdown in each of his first four games, and he only has one touchdown in his last six games, but he’s still scored in 50% of his games and this is a great get right spot.

NFL Week 12 Touchdown Props Prediction: Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions (+155)

Jameson Williams has thrived in two games since head coach Dan Campbell took over the playcalling for the Detroit Lions as he’s caught 4/7 targets for 88 yards & a touchdown and 6/7 targets for 119 yards a touchdown.

Williams has now scored a touchdown in each of his last three games, 4 of his last 5 games and 5 of his last 9 games.

Now Williams has an opportunity to feast on a New York Giants defense that allowed the 5th most receiving yards (181.6/game) and 8th most touchdowns (11) to opposing wide receivers after Christian Watson scored twice against them in Week 11.

Williams has thrived against man coverage, and the Giants play that coverage at the 2nd highest rate in the NFL.

Sam Laporta is on the shelf with a back injury and Williams has excelled in two games without him during the last two seasons, logging four receptions and a touchdown in both games to go along with 88 & 124 yards.

The Lions are heavily favored (-10.5) but they need this win, and the Giants should hang around with Jaxson Dart under center.
