Chelsea vs Everton | December 13 | 10:00 AM ET

Chelsea -150 | Everton +415 | Draw +300

After moving within range of league-leaders Arsenal just over a week ago in what was a huge London derby between the pair, Chelsea have unfortunately come off the boil in a big way since then, losing to Leeds by a multiple-goal margin in what was a shock defeat, and following that up with a bore-score draw against 13th placed Bournemouth last weekend.

However, with Arsenal losing to a rampant Aston Villa side last weekend, the Blues have been given a lifeline, albeit a slim one, yet if they’re going to make the most of it, a win here is all but a necessity on Saturday against a hard-charging Everton side.

Everton, who sit just one place below Chelsea in the table in 6th, have been in great form across the last few weeks, ripping off four wins from their last five games overall, the last of which culminated in a 3-0 demolition of Nottingham Forest at home.

However, since November 1st, Chelsea’s underlying data has dwarfed that of Everton’s, with the Londoners racking up almost twice the amount of xG than the Toffees have managed across that timeframe, as well as almost 50% less in terms of defensive xGA also.

This is a stand and deliver moment for Chelsea here on Saturday, and we believe they’ll do enough to get over the line against Everton at home this weekend.

Premier League Predictions: Chelsea -0.75 (-127)

Arsenal vs Wolves | December 6 | 3:00 PM ET

Arsenal -760 | Wolves +2065 | Draw +760

Bottom faces top in the late game on Saturday as 20th placed Wolves travel down to the English capital to take on 1st placed Arsenal.

Both sides will look to rebound off defeats last weekend, a regular occurrence for Wolves this season who have amassed 12 defeats from their 14 games overall, yet a surprise one for Arsenal who were handed just their second loss of the campaign so far.

However, at home, Arsenal have been sensational this season, especially defensively, where they’ve allowed just two goals all year to opponents, with 71% of all of their home games this year coming attached with a clean sheet.

By comparison, Wolves have been at the other end of that spectrum, keeping zero clean sheets away from home this season, and failing to score in a league-high 86% of all of their road games also.

The Gunners have dominated this fixture recently as well, especially playing at this venue, where they’ve won four straight games against Wolves by a combined goal tally of 11-2.

Wolves will be lucky if they come within 20 yards of Arsenal’s goal line here on Saturday, while the Gunners are averaging a healthy 2.57 G/PG at home on the other side.

Take Arsenal to win this one by margin on Saturday.

Premier League Predictions: Arsenal -1.75 (-125)

Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham | December 14 | 9:00 AM ET

Nottingham Forest +160 | Tottenham +180 | Draw +235

With both teams involved in some European action in midweek, a tricky matchup is expected here on Sunday in a game where ‘who rotates their squad the best’ may be the deciding factor.

What hasn’t been particularly tricky to work out, however, has been Tottenham’s domestic form, with their 1.01 xG accumulated per game since November 1st coming in as the 3rd lowest marker in the entire league across that timeframe.

In fact, Tottenham’s +1.95 goals/xG ratio since November 1st is one of the league’s biggest discrepancies, with Tottenham’s seven goals from set-piece situations highlighting how little they’ve actually been creating from open play of late.

Nottingham Forest, by comparison, have been amassing the far better underlying stats of the two teams since November 1st in key areas such as offensive xG, defensive xGA, and xPTS, yet have struggled to get results, sitting 4th-from-bottom in the table heading into matchday 16.

However, a key stat ahead of this one is that Forest have failed to score in a league-high 57% of all of their home games this season, with Tottenham ranking joint-2nd in the league in terms of clean sheets generated on the road also.

We backed the Under 2.75 goals last weekend in the matchup between Brentford and Tottenham (0-2), and we’re coming right back and backing it once again in a game we expect to come in Under the total on Sunday.

Premier League Prediction: Under 2.5 (-117)
