NFL Week 15 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Travis Etienne, Jacksonville Jaguars (+340)

The Jacksonville Jaguars are going to have a tremendous advantage in scoring first in general as -13.5-point home favorites as they have struck first in 10/13 games (76.9%) compared to the New York Jets who have scored first in only 3/13 games (23.1%).

Travis Etienne just recorded his 2nd first touchdown of the 2025 campaign with 3-yard plunge in the first quarter against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Jets have allowed the 2nd most running back rushing touchdowns (15), and they are tied for the 2nd most running back receiving touchdowns allowed (4).

New York is set to start undrafted rookie quarterback Brady Cook with Justin Fields & Tyrod Taylor both missing practice this week and it’s going limit their ability in scoring whatsoever.

NFL Week 15 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers (+275)

This is admittedly a very short price but the likelihood of Christian McCaffrey striking first makes this fully worthy of play. McCaffrey is tied for the 2nd most first touchdowns with three and he’s #2 in red zone rushing attempts (54) behind only Jonathan Taylor with 56.

CMC is #1 in red zone targets by a wide margin (21) as Javonte Williams in next in line with 12. The San Francisco 49ers are -12.5-point home favorites, and they have hit paydirt first in 8/13 games (61.5%) compared to the Tennessee Titans who have only scored first in 3/13 games (23.1%).

The Titans are tied for the 3rd most running back rushing touchdowns allowed with 14. McCaffrey has an anytime touchdown price set at -310 and he’s scored in 9/13 games (69%) on the season. The 49ers should strike first at home and CMC is their go-to-guy.
