NFL Week 17 First Touchdown Props Prediction: James Cook Buffalo Bills (+650)

James Cook has scored five touchdowns in his last two games alone and he leads his team with five team first TDs while sitting tied for 2nd in game first touchdowns (3).

Cook has to be considered based on his red area volume as he’s logged 22 red zone carries in his last four games while sitting tied for 3rd with 52 on the season.

The Philadelphia Eagles are tied for the 10th most running back rushing touchdowns (12) and 5th most running back receiving touchdowns allowed (4).

Cook doesn’t get a ton of work in the passing game but he’s good for a consistent 2 or 3 grabs a game. In Week 17, Chris Rodriguez Jr and Jacory Croskey-Merritt both found the end zone against the Eagles.

This is critical game for the Buffalo Bills as they fight for playoff positioning while Philadelphia may deal with a letdown spot after clinching the NFC East.

These teams are pretty close to even for team first scores on the season and the spread is near pick’em but this is a Bills Mafia spot to me and I’m backing Cook to strike first at home.

NFL Week 17 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Kyren Williams LA Rams (+650)

Kyren Williams is great first touchdown option for Week 17 as he’s tied for the MOST first touchdowns on the season (4 w Gibbs & Achane) while scoring his team’s first touchdown in six games.

Williams ranks 9th with 47 red zone rushing attempts and he’s scored an anytime touchdown in 10/15 games (67%).

Davante Adams is always a first TD threat, but he’s missed practice this week as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss a crucial game against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 16.

The Los Angeles Rams have gone three straight weeks without striking first but they have still scored first in 9/15 games (60%) on the season compared to an Atlanta Falcons team that is on a four-week first touchdown drought while only scoring first in 5/15 games (33.3%) in 2025.

The Rams are also -7.5-point road favorites, and I can definitely envision them scoring first on a scripted drive with Williams finishing things off as he’s scored 19 of the last 34 Rams team first touchdowns.
