Maalik Murphy is playing with his third different team in three years as Oregon State plays at Texas Tech on Saturday.

He has averaged 307 passing yards per game so far this season in two losses and he should be forced to sling it again with the Beavers heading in as 23-24 point underdogs.

The Red Raiders defense hasn’t been tested all that much so far with blowout wins over Arkansas Pine-Bluff and Kent State with Murphy’s passing yards prop number listed at 212.5 at the time of this writing.

He averaged 244 passing yards per game last season while at Duke including a 325 yard passing performance at #5 Miami.

So, even playing on the road against a ranked opponent Murphy should be ready to handle a potentially loud crowd.

Murphy has completed 26 passes per game so far this season and we don’t see why he wouldn’t reach that number again forcing to throw while behind.

Should he reach 26 completions he’d just need 8.5 yards per completion to surpass his passing yard prop number.

With the Beavers heading into Lubbock as huge underdogs, look for Murphy to go over 212.5 passing yards on Saturday.

College Football Player Props Prediction 2: Aaron Anderson, LSU OVER ~69.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Aaron Anderson and LSU look for revenge on Florida at home on Saturday after losing to the Gators in Gainsville last season 27-16.

Anderson had seven catches for 72 yards in that game as the Tigers will look to lean on him as their leading pass catcher this season once again.

In Week 1 against Clemson Anderson had 99 yards receiving which helped the Tigers secure a 17-10 win on the road with the Gators coming off a huge upset loss to South Florida at home where they allowed Byrum Brown to throw for 263 yards.

Now, they have to go to one of the toughest places to play facing one of the best quarterbacks in the nation in Garrett Nussmeier who threw for over 4,000 yards last season including 260 at Florida.

Look for Nussmeier to lean on Anderson once again in a big game as we’ll look for the top LSU receiver to go over 69.5 receiving yards on Saturday in Baton Rouge.
